His slow menacing laughter echoed in the room, slowly and gradually that slow laugh was transiting into a near-maniacal, even hysterical laughter. He crossed a certain point and was able to laugh freely with all his might; he laughed his heart out as he was aware that he wouldn't be caught. And even if he would, he wouldn't care…
"It's be so long since we've met…" he husked out as he stopped laughing. Tears rolled down his bloodshot eyes, and his valiant and evil smirk was turning and changing the directions of this stream. "It's been so long my dear friend…"
The person to whom he was addressing was barely able to utter out a voice, let alone answer. All he could do it let out sporadic coughs and chokes. His eyes twitched as he felt his blood slowly pour out of his body and stain his clothes in a deep red, his hands were firmly grasped around the sharp knife which was dug deep in his chest and straight going through his heart, if he had one.
"Gugh…" The victim tried to mutter out something but the assailant gently covered his mouth with the palm of his hand. "Tsk tsk now, we don't want any unwanted attention being drawn to ourselves now, don't we?" He husked at the man, who shot back a frightened look at the younger male. The freight he experienced was not of death, but it was the freight of being conquered.
"You have done enough damage to us," The younger male began, "You took away everything from me, everything. My father, my mother, my childhood – you made me your slave and yours alone. I lost all sense whatsoever, for a while I even revered you, dare I say I even worshiped you. But I began to get signs of your disposition, and ooh believe me it was anything but reverent." He finished before slowly sliding his hand off his face, before whipping it across it instantly reddening it. Tears began to ooze out of the old man's eyes.
"Oh did I hurt you, grandfather? Come let me make you feel BETTER!" He angrily muttered before grabbing the man by this collars and slamming him into the wall, the male's cold and vicious stare penetrated through the soul of the old man.
"You took everything away from me, my dignity, my pride, my love and my friends. Kai Hiwatari is dead, isn't he?" He hissed out which made the already dying man tremble with fear, for the first time he felt such strong emotions and he did not like it one bit, but he had at-least realized that it was brought upon him by himself alone.
"Am i dead now?" Kai asked as his grip around the man's collars tighten, "Am I dead Voltaire Hiwatari ?! AM I?!" He asked or rather demanded from him. Voltaire barely swallowed as his redden face was turning blue, he was running out of blood.
"You said to me that you've created a monster, well you know what they say abut monsters…" Kai said before slamming him down on the floor,
"They hunt you down when you least expect of it…"
"Ka- Kai…."
"Say hello to Grandmother to me, I'm sure she'll be happy to see you…in Hell…" Kai greeted the dying devil before he stood up and corrected his attire, before heading out of the room when he heard a faint voice.
"You're coming with me…"
He smirked back as he saw Voltaire make one final attempt to scare him, but he was far beyond the point of feeling things.
"Of course I'm coming… I'll follow you there and haunt you forever." He replied with a profound smirk before turning heels and heading out of the room, leaving the dying old man wretch for himself as he breathed the final time/ The words continued to haunt him as he faded away
"I'll follow you and I'll haunt you forever…"
