I rummage through the trash in an alleyway near the docks of my home in Castelia city, looking for a specific item. I didn't find anything resembling what I wanted, but I did find a Focus band among the waste. A trainer must've found it useless and thrown it away, lucky day for me. I quickly go back to my home under the docks and quickly placed the Focus band around my neck. I looked into a broken mirror I found to see how I looked. I smiled, giddy with excitement. I looked away from the mirror and started to dig inside of a broken dresser I had found in the Castelia dump a couple of months ago. It was here I hid a special item..my personal treasure..a Big Nugget. I decided I would give this to a Pokemon I liked a lot..more than a friend. I'm sure she'd love it. I quickly grab the heavy gold sphere and soon I am in the middle of the city, waiting hopefully that the Pokemon I wanted to see will appear.
She does, but not alone. A big Bug-type Pokemon is with her, they're smiling and laughing, enjoying thier walk through the city. They pass by me without a second glance. I drop the Big Nugget and give a sad smile. I was too late.
