A/N: This is a little taster of an idea I had for a fic, I don't want to spoil too much of the plot but basically it's a Beast Boy and Raven plot and this segment see's them on a mission undercover. That's all I'm going to say. Interested? Then read on....

Those Three Words

As they returned to their room, Raven went straight into the bathroom, the door slamming behind her. Wasting little time she nearly ripped her dress off and into much more comfortable long trousers and vest top. Scrubbing her face clean and throwing the little decorative trinkets off, she finally felt like her normal self and could relax and calm herself down. She couldn't even bring herself to say it. Taking a deep breath she felt ready to go out into the bedroom.

Opening the door she made a point of not looking at Beast Boy and got straight into bed. At this point Beast Boy wasn't that much of an idiot to not sense that Raven was in a bad mood. But he was on such a high due to their success that night that he couldn't feel scared or worried of her mood. This would now explain his actions.

"You mad at me Rae?" he asked walking over from where he was on the balcony to stand next to the bed.

Raven said nothing in reply to his question and continued to read her book.

"Come on Rae what have I done now?" Beast Boy questioned again, his voice taking on a sing song hilt.

"You know what you did" was Raven's curt reply as she continued to read, refusing to look at him.

"Umm nooo you're going to have to help me out" he persisted.

Closing her book with a snap she looked up at Beast Boy. All he thought was that the saying 'If looks could kill' was invented for Raven.

"You. Kissed. Me." Raven said through gritted teeth, glaring at him.

And there it was. Three words to why she was so angry.

"Yeah" was Beast Boy's mere response, still not quite seeing what her problem was, "Is that why you're so angry?"

Raven just continued to glare at him. She didn't care if he thought she was being irrational it was an invasion of her personal space and she wasn't having it.

"Oh come on Raven. It was for the mission. We are meant to be a married couple it was the best diversion. Me kissing you just saved our butts."

"I'm sure" she responded steely.

"Or are you just angry because you enjoyed it" Beast Boy questioned her.

Raven gaped at him, stunned into silence. How could he even say that to her? But now she could do nothing as it repeated over and over in her mind.

"It's ok if you want to kiss me again" he said moving closer to Raven, enjoying her silence.

Raven continued to stare, thoughts of his lips on hers swarming her head. It wasn't until she registered that he was moving closer to her that she reacted. Throwing her arms out, she effectively pushed Beast Boy away from her. How he wasn't pushed clear into the opposite wall was a miracle.

"You're an idiot! You drive me so crazy I could scream!" she shouted at him, really on the verge of screaming then.

"You know you're really sexy when your angry" Beast Boy grinned raising an eyebrow flirtatiously.

All this resulted in was Beast Boy being knocked down to the ground by the rapid firing of the pillows Raven threw at him with her powers. If she had something heavier to hand she would have thrown that as well.

Trying to keep her anger below boiling point, Raven threw the covers over her head muffling the laughter from Beast Boy.
