The Big Surprise
Chapter 1: How it all happened…
Boy, I never thought it would happen like this before… And why now? Why not later like 10 years from now. It's too soon. NO! It's way too soon. But anyway, it's not in my hands…
Oh! Hi, you are probably wondering what I am talking about, well I'm gonna go ahead and tell you. It may take a while, so I hope you've got caffeine in your system or lots of sugar!
Ok, well it all started when I went to visit my family in Brussels, I know what you're thinking: "Oh! She's French!" No, I am not French. It just so happens that my family lives in France. But good guess, I can see your brain is working. That means you're still awake! Anyway, so as soon as we got there, we got a very warm welcome from my Aunt Bea. Yeah, that's her, the one that's getting married.
"Oh! Hellooo my pretties! I've missed you so much! Anne you've gotten taller on me!" exclaimed Aunt Bea.
"Oh, yes I have gotten taller Aunt Bea. Thanks for noticing!" I replied.
Yep, my name's Anne, I don't fancy it so much, but I'm stuck with it, so what can I do? I prefer Lily though… Oh well!
Anyway, back to my story, so after acknowledging me and my little brother Sam, she ran to my Mom and gave her a big hug. Uh oh, the waterworks began to take course; all because Mom and Aunt Bea haven't seen each other in 1 year. I know that doesn't seem like a long time, but in sister years, that's like 100 years!
"Oh! I've missed you so much, Bea!" cried Mom.
"Me too, Lily! I'm so glad you're here!" cried Aunt Bea.
Hold it! My mom's name is LILY (my favourite name) and MY name is ANNE! What? That's so unfair. Oh! Am I rambling again? Sorry, back to the story…
So, what I forgot to mention is, my Aunt Bea called up my mom 3 days ago, and told her that we all MUST come to Brussels; why? I don't know; no one does except Aunt Bea actually. So, basically she hasn't told my Mom why she wants us to be there so urgently. But we soon found out why, and it certainly didn't go that well…
