My Bella held me close to her warm body. Charlie had been killed on duty. The burglar pulled out a gun and shot him, there was nothing we could of done. Sobs racked her body as I tried to comfort her.
We were in our meadow. It was extremely dark outside probably around 11'oclock

I'd just gotten a message saying Charlie had died on duty. Edward had stayed by my side and held me the entire night.
It was amazing how about three hours ago I didn't have a care in the world.

I felt like such a nuisance to poor Edward.
Always crying.

He deserved so much more then a weeping wife.
When I tried to tell him he should go home and visit his family. But he refused to leave my side.
