OK, so I obviously don't own the KND, if i did, why would I be writing stories here?

Just to let you know, this takes place when Kuki and Wally and the gang are 16-17 years old and in the TND.

Hope you enjoy!

She tried to drown out the shouting, but no matter how loud she turned her stereo, her parents kept yelling. Kuki Sanban could feel the tears forming in her eyes. She picked up her cell phone and called Abby. All she got was a voice mail. Hoagie was at camp. Nigel was with the galactic KND. So she called her last resort.

"'Ello?"

"Come get me please, Wally."

"Ah'm on mah way, Kooks." Then the line went dead.

Kuki quickly changed out of her pajama pants and pulled on a pair of black jeans. She pulled a dark green sweatshirt over her tank top and slipped on some green flip flops. She ran a brush through her hair and swiped on some lip-gloss. Three years had done wonders to Kuki, and now she had curves in all the right places and flawless, marble skin. She had calmed down quite a bit too, much to her friend's pleasure.

She slipped down the stairs as quietly as she could. She heard the smash of breaking china as she shut the front door. She cringed. She sat down on the front steps and waited until she saw the figure of who she knew was Wally walking towards her.

Wally, also, had changed a lot. He was taller, taller than she was now, and much more muscular. He had become relatively smarter, but that was mostly due to Kuki's constant tutoring lessons.

She stood and ran into him, wrapping her arms around him in a hug. She felt him return her embrace, and smiled into his chest. She stood back and looked at him.

"They're fighting again." She said quietly. He nodded.

"Don't worry Kooks, it'll be alroight." He said. Then he took her hand and led her back down the sidewalk.

They walked to the park near her house and sat on a bench. She rested her head on his shoulder and he put an arm around her.

"I don't get why they fight so much. Everything was fine… before." She whispered. Before. That was the word that fit Kuki's situation. Before she was in an abusive relationship. Before her grandmother, the only person who understood her, passed away. Before Mushi got fed up with everything and ran. They still couldn't find her. And now before her parents had started screaming at each other over every little thing.

Wally sighed. He knew he had to do this now.

"Don't worry Kooks, yeh always got meh. And Ah'll always be here. Because Ah… Ah love yeh Kooks." He said. She sat up and looked at him.

"Y-you love m-me?" she whispered, tears in her eyes. Wally nodded, his face bright red.

"Ah understand if yeh don't loike meh back, but Ah joist-" he started, but Kuki silenced him by kissing him soundly on the lips. Wally was shocked at first, but then kissed her back with the same enthusiasm as she had shown.

They broke apart, and leaned their foreheads together.

"I love you too, Wally Beetles" She whispered. He grinned and pressed his lips to hers again.

Ok, so please review!! I'll love you all forever!!
