Poison
"Are you ready for your big moment, my dear?" He said through the bars. I couldn't even look at him; it didn't merit an answer.
"I brought you this…" He handed to me a long, white gown with a veil hanging from the top. I refused to touch it, then several, unexpected warrior monks came up to the side of my cage, all throwing their guns to my head. I could hear the hollowness of their rifle barrels near my ears and feel threat like the warm breath of Chimera breathing down the side of my face.
"Do it," I said. "Nothing can be worse than this." My words were a joke to Seymour and he laughed mockingly, feeding my anger.
"You need not worry, my Lady. I no not, by any means, have reason or desire to kill you. I simply want you to put on your lovely dress. You don't want to be late to your own wedding, now do you?"
"My wedding?" I thought. "OH no, Seymour, this is YOUR wedding."
"You know, Lady Yuna, it would be most appropriate to practice the ceremony, …" he said, coming closer to the cage.
"Better, yet…" his voice grew deeper. "Why don't we practice the after-wedding activities instead? I'm sure you'd enjoy that very much…"
"You're sick," I muttered under my breath.
He pretended not to listen, but his body began to tense up upon hearing that, and terror suddenly shook my surroundings. The room began moving with my nerves of my possible demise. I couldn't die, if not for Spira, for my dear Tidus. My breath quickened. I knew he could smell my fear and indulged in it.
"Well? Do I not attract you?"
I didn't respond.
"It's a shame. I would have assured you of the best time of your life, one you would not regret, so… let me ask offer you again." He bent down and grabbed my hand that was clenching the bars for dear life.
"Lie down with me, Lady Yuna."
I snapped my hand away forcefully. His eyes narrowed; he was so deeply enraged that he began to speak slowly.
"Very well then."
With a wave of his hands, the guards fled. He unlocked the gate and shut it behind them. I sat still with fright of what he could do next. He reached down and grabbed my arm tightly, cutting my blood circulation, as I yelped in fear. He reached out for the other despite my desperate squirming, picked me up to my feet and slammed me against the other side of the gate, pinning down both my legs with his.
"I ask you to marry me, kindly, for the goodness of Spira and you refuse"
He took both my hands into one of his and ripped off half of my blouse with the other.
"I offer you to lie down with me and you also say no." I began crying, too afraid to make noise or even breathe. My lungs were forced to gasp for air. He was beginning to pull my skirt away.
"I would give you all of me, everything I had to offer. I was kind to you, invited you into my mansion, bought you a beautiful gown, and yet, you still turn me down!"
I was now half-naked with only my under-garments. He clasped both my hands with his again and scanned my defenseless body.
"Do you know how many times I've been denied? I've given my all to the world, and it made me suffer in return. I can't even seduce a beautiful, young woman into sleeping with me."
He paused.
"Am I that horrid of a monster?"
He looked into my eyes.
"Am I that pathetic of a man!"
I remained speechless in fear. I didn't even know how to answer. He shook his head.
"No more, Yuna. I will not be made a monster any longer. I will save Spira and become a hero!" he said, slamming me into the gate once more.
I turned my head, whimpering, trembling, preparing myself for what he would do to me next. He threw me to the ground, picked up the dress and threw it to my legs.
"Now, get dressed. We have much a head of us."
