~Reader's P.O.V.~
All day long its been nothing but fun, fun and more fun! You've done everything from playing games to singing along with the Freddy Fazbear Band, the fun would've continued but your mother called for you. "Sweetheart take a break for a bit and come eat." You threw a hissy fit, "But mooooom! I wanna keep playing! Please! Oh pretty please!" Suddenly your tummy let out a rather loud growl, you blushed out of embarrassment.
"I'll tell you what dear, if you sit down and eat some pizza I'll let you play until closing time." You gasped in surprise, "Really?" She nodded. Eager to get back to playing you sat down and ate, as you ate you looked up at the stage. You smiled as you saw Freddy Fazbear, even though you were still very young you had developed a huge crush on the friendly bear. You hoped one day you could get closer to him but the rules prevented you from doing so, looks like it was only meant to be a dream that would never come true.
~Time Skip~After eating some pizza you got to do exactly what your mom promised, playing until closing. As closing time was near you needed to take a quick trip to the restroom, you made sure you would meet your mom outside once you were through. After washing your hands you stepped out and to your shock the entire place was dark, you were terrified of the dark and wanted out. You ran for the exit only to discover it was locked, you did the only thing you could think of.
"Mommy! Help me! Let me out! Please mommy help me its dark!" You repeatedly banged on the doors and screamed your lungs out but no one came to your aid, you began to hyperventilate. 'This place is so much scarier in the dark, please...won't someone help me?' You curled up in a corner and started to cry, hoping someone would come.
~Freddy's P.O.V.~
It was nice to have some piece and quiet after a long day of singing, my friends were all powered down. I was about to power off as well until I heard something, curious I got off stage to see what was making all the noise. It seemed that the closer I got the clearer it became, it sounded like a child crying. 'A child? But no one should be here after hours, I better not scare the poor thing.' In the soft moonlight I found a shivering little body, it was a frightened little girl.
I timidly approached her and quietly knelt down next to her, I placed my paw on her shoulder which made her jump. She turned to me with tears in her eyes, it broke my heart to see a child so scared. "Child...why do you cry?" I asked. "I-Its d-dark...and s-scary..." She whimpered. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close to my chest, "There there child...Freddy will keep you safe." She smiled softly, "R-Really?" I nodded and picked her up.
She blushed at this which made me smile, I took her back to the stage and stood in place. I gently moved my arms in a rocking motion to help lull her to sleep, "Don't you cry my child, Freddy is here to make everything better. Don't you worry my child, Freddy will keep you safe in his arms. Don't you fret my child, Freddy will make the dark go away. Just close your eyes and go to sleep, Freddy will be here with you until morning."
She finally fell asleep and I stopped rocking her, I did not power down this night as I knew this child needed me to protect her from the darkness. I merely closed my eyes and held this child close to my heart, no matter if its during the day or after hours I will always protect a child in need.
THE END!
