It was your usual day in the Mushroom Kingdom, what with Toad karting, Princess Peach farting, Bowser darting from his angry caretaker Kamek... your usual stuff in the regular Mario world, with the red capped pesky plumber himself doing usual Italian human things like jumping on people and platforming in strange locations.
But we're not here for the boring aspects of this bizarre predicament. We're here for the weird shit that always happens in these stories, case in point...
Birdo was selling some batteries at a new store she had just made on the vibrant Ribbon Road, having sold quite a decent amount of them to the Toads populating the toy themed racetrack as suddenly a handful of big bosses came by, all of them laughing.
"You always seem to get higher priority than us." King Bob-omb stated as he then chucked several bombs at Birdo. "Well not anymore!"
Birdo was quick to fire some eggs at the bombs, causing a big explosion as she was then squashed by Goomboss. King Boo then turned invisible and snatched up the batteries as he cackled, with the trio of bosses disappearing as Birdo gasped in shock, quickly adjusting her red bow.
"My batteries...!" Birdo exclaimed in horror as she glanced behind her to see Dry Bowser and Toadette pull up in the Parade Kart. "Oh thank goodness you two came! There's a bad predicament that happened to me!"
"Let me guess, judging from the damage here..." Dry Bowser started as he was doing some detective work, rubbing his bony chin with his right hand. "It was a ghost, a bomb, and a goomba..."
"Wow. You weren't kidding when you told me that you me that you were a detective." Birdo gasped in shock as her eyes widened, nodding her head as she moved her arms about. "Anyway yes! I need your help, urgently!"
Toadette's stomach growled loudly as she placed her right hand on her face, gulping. "Well gosh! I hope we can hurry soon! I'm getting hungry!"
Birdo nodded, jumping next to Toadette in the parade kart as Dry Bowser took the wheel, with the trio following the footsteps left by Goomboss, who was known to leave big steps behind.
