Hello, it's me again. Just to let you know there are some more Clorith challenge fics up on my profile :)
MY popcorn
Cloud scooted up the sofa when Aerith entered with DVD in hand. He sat the popcorn down on the cushions between them and watched her silently place the disk in the machine. Once done, she smiled at him and made her way back to the sofa to snuggle against him.
They watched the movie in compainable silence, except for the occassional russle of the popcorn bag. But after a while, Cloud frowned as Aerith took yet another handful. She seemed to have taken alot and sure enough, when he checked the bag, there was hardly any left. Checking to see if she was looking, he quickly shifted it closer to him. But Aerith just reached over and took another handful.
"Haven't you had enough?" he asked. She glanced at him.
"Huh?"
"You're eating all the popcorn."
"Then you should be quicker," she replied, taking another handful. Cloud frowned slightly.
"But it's my popcorn!"
She looked at him for a moment before she shoved the bag towards him. "Fine." She stood and walked out of the room before Cloud could say or do anything. He blinked first at the spot where she had stood and then down at the popcorn bag as he tried to work out what had just happened.
"Aerith?" he called. There was no reply but he could hear her in the kitchen somewhere. With a sigh, he paused the movie and made his way through to the other room. "Hey, I'm sorry okay."
"Yeah I'm convinced by it," she retorted. Cloud rolled his eyes and moved towards her, gently taking her arm as she moved to leave the room.
"Aerith please don't be mad, I hate it when we fight," he said. "I'm really sorry if I offended you." She sighed and stared at his hand on her arm before looking up at him.
"No, I'm the one who should be sorry. I just freaked out over nothing," she replied before she tilted her head to the side and smiled. "Forgiven?" she asked teasingly. He smirked and put on a face of mock thought.
"Hmmm," he replied. "I guess so."
She smiled back at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. "Good," she whispered when they pulled apart.
