Laura was sitting in the rec room watching a documentary about the ancient Egyptians. She liked it because it was fact. There was no hidden symbolism, just the people explaining the history and culture of the empire. It had started out as just her at first, but then Cessily came and laid down on the floor. She watched in companionable silence, which was an unusual event for the talkative girl. Sooraya soon curled into a nearby chair to watch with them. Julian looked in the room, looking for something to do. When he saw his girlfriend laying on the couch he went hopped onto the couch behind her, so that he was spooning her. Laura's attention never drifted from show for a moment.
Remy and Anna Marie were searching for the students who had missed room check to find them all in the rec room, paying rapt attention to the documentary. Marie was about to rouse all of them before Remy shushed her and pulled her onto an old worn recliner. She complied without complaint. The next morning Logan opened the door to the rec room to find the room occupied with sleeping teens and adults. He didn't care much until he realized who was on the couch together. "That Keller kid is going to hate danger room session today." He thought to himself as he left the room's occupants to sleep.
