"Only the tip," Duo said defensively.

Duo looked at Heero, then surrendered his braid.
"Duo, look at this. It's turning into chunks coated with spit."
Duo just put on a half smile.
Heero shook his head, then considered his options. Then a thought interrupted his considering.

Heero blinked at the braid, then placed the tip in his mouth.
Duo gaped.
/Mmm…sweet…I can't discern anything but Duo's spit on it…and it tastes so sweet…/

/OMS, what is he doing? He's sucking on my braid, my braid is in Heero Yuy's mouth, OMS…/
Heero looked up at Duo, who was still gaping. He dropped the braid guiltily.
"Why did you do that?"
Heero shrugged. " I guess I just wanted to know why you're so attracted to sucking on your braid…"
Duo looked confused.
"It tastes good…"
Duo looked at him. "Does it taste sweet to you to?"
"Yeah…I think it may just be the dried spit by now…"
Duo gaped again.
Heero took advantage of his open mouth shock to kiss Duo. Duo's mouth was already open, so Heero's tongue slipped inside easily. Duo's tongue was stroked back to life, the shock temporarily paralyzing it.
The sucking that had occurred on Duo's hair was quickly relocated to tongues.
Both boys finally drew away panting; although they _had_ remembered to breathe, the lengthy kiss had kept them from getting enough air.
Heero looked at Duo. "It's not just your dried spit that tastes good."
Duo blushed. "I've never tasted _your_ dried spit, but if that's any indication, it would taste pretty good too."
"Well, it's on your hair right now."
"True." Duo placed his braid in his moth again. "Yup, I was right."
Heero leaned in close. "Personally, I liked it fresh instead of dried. Can I have some more please?"
Duo grinned. "Only if I can suck on your tongue instead of my braid."
