3. The cover goes to Sacrascape, or also known as Koume!
4. I will only say this once- I OWN NOTHING DRAGON BALL Z RELATED.

Chapter 1- Living In Hell
Two years, that's how long it took for the world to be turned into a living hell. It started with the earth's mightiest warrior, Goku, falling ill, and then dying, from an awful heart virus. The desolation continued with the arrival of Androids Seventeen and Eighteen. The remaining Z-Fighters at the time took their stand against the Androids, but it was in vain. One by one they had fallen to the hands to those evil monsters until only one was left... A young boy by the name of Gohan, who was now thirteen.
The world was in madness and chaos. Everyone constantly lived in fear of Eighteen and Seventeen, for they had shown their ruthlessness several times. They come and go as they please, they believe no one can stop them, so they don't care. Gohan tries his best to deal with them, he is his father's son after all.
Chi-Chi sighed, shaking her head. Thinking about the Androids caused her nothing but headaches and wrinkles! But how could she not think about them? Especially when her son was constantly trying to fight them!
A sudden new energy emerged inside the small house located in the mountains and Chi-Chi froze for a second. Could it be the Androids...? No, they didn't have energy signals... She couldn't read the energy, for she had never been good at reading it... But just to be safe, she grabbed a nearby frying pan, a weapon she had always kept close by if needed.
"Who's there?" She demanded, stomping into the living room. If a crook thought they could just waltz into her home and steal her things- they had another thing coming!
Who she saw made the weapon slip right out of her hand as her mouth gasped open. "G-Goku...?"
The man, whom she hadn't seen in two years smiled broadly. Slowly, he walked over to her, stopping just an inch from her. "It's really me, Chi."
Chi-Chi sniffed, she could smell him... Hear him... He even called her his little pet name for her. With trembling fingers, she reached out and touched his cheek, and as soon as she felt that it was really and truly him she started sobbing.
"It's okay," Goku soothed, wrapping his arms around his wife's shoulders and holding her tightly. "Listen Chi-Chi, I can't stay for long..."
Chi-Chi shook her head in confusion as she leaned back, tears pooling down her face. "I don't understand... You're back!"
Goku smiled sadly, tucking a piece of loose hair behind Chi-Chi's ear. "Only for a while... There was this tournament in the other world, and I was in it. I was in it for King Kai, and I won it! I won it Chi... And because of that, I got one wish. I know about the Androids, I know how terrible they are... So I wished for a week with Gohan and you. I can spend time with both of you, and I can train Gohan."
Chi-Chi nodded, not trusting herself to speak as she sniffed and rested her head on Goku's chest. She knew her thoughts were selfish... She didn't want Goku training Gohan, simply because she didn't want her son fighting against those Androids. But she knew whatever she said, it wouldn't be enough to change the boys mind. They were Saiyans at heart. All she could do was hope and pray that once Gohan got old enough, he could take finally get rid of those awful monsters.

"Daddy...?" Gohan whispered when he walked through his front door and saw his father. "What... What are you doing here...? Are you back...?!" His young mind was going miles a minute as he thought of possibilities. "Are you here to finally kill-?!"
"No son," Goku sighed. "I'm afraid not... I'm only here for a short while- a week that is. It won't be my responsibility to take out the Androids, so while I'm here, I'm going to teach you everything I can."
It was silent as Gohan bit back stubborn tears. His father wasn't back after all. Not the way he had hoped at least... And he wasn't there to take down the Androids. He was there to train him... Gohan wouldn't let him down.
Wiping tears out of his eyes, Gohan looked up at his father. "I'm ready."
"Now," Goku said, grabbing his son's shoulder and his wife around the waist. "Hold on you two," he smiled, before adjusting them and placing two fingers to his forehead. Just like that, the three of them were gone.
When the dizziness and tingling feeling finally left Chi-Chi, she popped an eye open to see the inside of Capsule Corp.. She had no idea how they ended up there...
"Wow Daddy," Gohan awed, looking around with wide eyes. "What was that you just did?"
Goku grinned, "a neat trick I learned before I died. It's called Instant Transmission."
"Goku," Chi-Chi glanced up at her husband. "Why are we here...?"
"Well, if the Gravity Room is still working, I was wondering if Bulma would let me and Gohan use it for training."
"Who's there?!" Demanded a strong voice. Suddenly, Bulma came around the corner, a gun in her hand. When she saw Goku she gasped, her hand falling to the side. "G-Goku...?" She whispered.
"Hey Bulma!" Goku grinned, waving a hand towards her. "I really don't have much time to explain as to why I'm here, but I'm sure Chi-Chi wouldn't mind telling you. I was wondering... Is the Gravity Room still working...? And can Gohan and I use it for training?"
Slowly, Bulma nodded, raising her hand and pointing down the hall to her right.
"Thanks, Bulma!" Goku told her with a smile as him and Gohan took off down the hallway.

"Wow..." Bulma murmured once Chi-Chi had told her everything that she knew. "That sounds just like something Goku would do. Winning a tournament and using the wish to spend a week with his family."
Chi-Chi nodded, stirring her coffee slowly. She wondered how long Goku and Gohan would be training for that day... Hopefully they would get done early enough so she would have time to fix them something to eat.
"It's only for a week," Chi-Chi sighed. "Do you think that's long enough for Goku to teach Gohan everything he knows?"
"It's Goku! I'm sure everything will work out just fine!" Bulma reassured her as she stretched. Slowly, a smirk crossed her face, "do you have anything planned for him?"
"Huh?" Chi-Chi blinked in confusion.
"Come on, Chi-Chi!" Bulma chuckled. "You haven't seen him in two years! You've got to have something planned! If you want to let Gohan stay over, you can..." The bluenette wiggled her eyebrows.
"I-I-" Chi-Chi stuttered, her face turning a bright shade of red.
"Mom..." Bulma's three-year-old son, Trunks walked into the kitchen.
"Hi honey," Bulma smiled at him brightly. "Did you have a good nap?"
Trunks nodded, rubbing his eyes with a yawn. "I'm hungry..."
"Of course you are," Bulma smiled softly. "Go ahead and sit down, I'll fix you something," she told him as she got up to prepare him a sandwich.
"Hi Trunks," Chi-Chi smiled at him once he was settled in a seat.
"Hi," he said a bit sleepily. "Where's Gohan?" He looked around for his friend.
"He's off training, but he'll be back soon," Chi-Chi told him.
Bulma sat a plate and a glass of milk in front of Trunks who're sitting back in her seat again.
"Thank you," Trunks smiled at her.
"You're welcome, honey," she told him with a warm smile. "Now, eat." She watched Trunks eat with a sad, distant look on her face.
"Trunks reminds me so much of him..." Bulma whispered softly. Chi-Chi didn't have to ask to know she was talking about Vegeta.
