Carrie opened the glass door and stood in front of the elevator. She nervously tugged on the hem of her t-shirt, wondering if she should have dressed up. After all, she was meeting the Avengers. But then she cleared her head. Nope, Tony had specifically said it was casual. She took a deep breath and pressed the button for the elevator. As soon as she stepped inside, the doors closed and Jarvis greeted her. "Good evening, Miss Wells." She glanced up. "Good evening, Jarvis. Where's the dining room?" Carrie had been to Stark tower before, but never for dinner. As the doors opened, Jarvis instructed her to go to the end of the hall and turn left.

"Sir, Carrie Wells is coming up in the elevator," Jarvis announced. "Thanks, Jarvis," Tony replied. He and the other Avengers were putting the finishing touches on dinner. Thor was setting the table, Natasha and Steve were putting whipped cream on the pie, Clint and Bruce were finishing up the mashed potatoes and gravy, and Tony was carrying the food to the table. A few minutes later, Carrie came around the corner. "Hey," she said, looking a little nervous. Thor looked up and grinned. "Lady Carrie! I had heard you would be joining us for this evening meal!" Carrie smiled at him, tension going away. "Yep, and I'm hungry. Who's ready to eat?"

Five minutes later, they were in the middle of a debate. "It was a Monday that Tony got beat up by a homeless guy!" Natasha was insisting. "No, it was Saturday!" Clint was certain. Carrie let them fight for a while before quietly saying, "It was Thursday." They looked at her strangely. Tony grinned at Carrie as he stuffed mashed potatoes in his mouth. "Don't try to argue with the girl with perfect memory." "Really?" Bruce said, interested. "Perfect memory?" Carrie smiled at the doctor. "Yeah. I've had it my whole life." Bruce and Carrie got into a lengthy discussion with many long words. Everyone stopped paying attention after two minutes, instead returning to their previous conversations.

After dinner was over, Tony walked Carrie to the elevator. "I hope you had fun. Sometimes it gets crazy around here." Carrie gave him a bright smile. "Of course I had fun! Can we do it again sometime? Or maybe at my house?" Tony couldn't help but grin at her enthusiasm. "Sure. How about we all come over Tuesday?" "That's fine with me. Enjoy the rest of your evening." "As long as Point Break behaves, I should. See ya, Care."
