I Thought I Lost Him Starring Lioness and Axel

Note: The story is set in Blackout and in Lioness' POV when Paine was planning to use the meteorite to black out Landmark City near the end.

Lioness's POV

we were nearly defected by Paine.

"Imagine all the Paine I can cause with this meteorite." gloated Paine.

"I can see i'm going to have to seperate you two!" yelled Axel as he used a shovel to throw sand in Paine's face grab the meteorite piece, throw it and hit Paine in the face with the shovel!

"You're too late to stop the pulse Manning!" yelled Paine then Axel rushed to the pulse!

"Axel!" I cried.

Paine tried to Axel but he jumped and kicked Paine!

"I can't stop the pulse but I can stop you!" Axel yelled and pulled a leaver to a lift that the device with the meteorite pulse in to go underground!

I rushed to stop him!

"NO!" I cried then the meteorite exploded! "NO!"

"Axel can't be gone he can't if he died to stop Paine i'll stop Paine and make sure he pays for what he's done!" I thought.

"Lioness there is a chance Axel survived." said King putting his hand on my shoulder!

"I hope so." I replied.

Then the cops arrived to arrest Paine's goon but that blasted Paine escaped soon Axel was fished out of that lift shaft!

"Axel!" I cried rushing to him, hugging him, he blushed, I backed away and blushed. "Axel the pulse was contained you did it!"

"Where's Paine?" asked Axel.

"Gone." replied Shark.

Typical of Axel to think of capturing Paine but that's ok at least Axel is safe that matters to me at least anyway.

Later I walked past Hawk and told him to sh for one week and went off to talk to Axel.

"Axel I thought I lost you back at the quarry." I told him.

"Hey you can't get rid of me that easily Lioness you know that." smiled Axel putting his arm around me.

"You're right I guess I sort of forgot." I smiled but Axel smiled at me. "We'll stop Paine together that's what friends do."

"They sure do." Axel smiled.

Then we hugged.

"Get a room!" groaned Hawk.

"SH!" shushed Shark and King.

"You got to hand wash the clothes, short stack of blueberry, extra surpre and not talk to Lioness for a week." reminded Axel.

"Yeah." I giggled at Axel's humour that let him smile.

The news was on about how we Alpha Teens stopped Paine but to me that didn't matter all that mattered is Axel is alive to me at least.
