The Night Before Christmas- Naruto Style

'Twas the night before Christmas, and in Konoha

Not a person was stirring, not one sole ninja.

The kunais and needles were bundled with care

To easily find and then throw through the air.

Sasuke lay snuggled up tightly in his bed

With visions of Itachi lying there dead.

Naruto's at home, headband tied on quite tight,

Sprawled out in slumber that soft peaceful night.

When out in the street there arose such a sound

Even lazy Kakashi got up with a bound

To the window Naruto flew like a flash

Tossing aside blankets caught up in his dash.

The moon on the face of a stone Hokage

Gave quite a sight to those who woke from the fray.

Then there, to the wondering eyes did they spy

But a miniature sleigh that flew across the sky

With a little old driver, his moves without flaw

Naruto exclaimed "This must be some ninja!"

And out through the window dear Naruto came

And ran through the streets, calling ninjas by name:

"Hey Sasuske, Sakura, come out Akamaru!

Hey Bushy Brows, Shino, get up Shikamaru!

Grab all of your weapons and head to the street!

Some ninja's invading that we must defeat!"

Despite all his calls, Naruto stood there alone,

And he realized quickly he was on his own.

So to his room Naruto went with a snap

To gather his tools and set up a trap.

While Naruto set up his trap on his roof

There came the sound of clacking of each reindeer hoof.

As Naruto stood up and then turned around

Old St. Nick jumped out of his sleigh to the ground.

Naruto saw him from his foot to his head

In a clean suit colored a bright rosy red.

An old man who anger he truly did lack,

Still Naruto readied himself to attack.

His eyes sharp like daggers, his mouth in a scowl

Naruto swore this man was something most foul.

St. Nick's little mouth was drawn up in concern;

At the sight of Naruto, crouched and quite stern.

He took his pipe that had been clenched in his teeth,

And stared at this ninja with pure disbelief.

He scratched at his chin, unsure of what he should do

With Naruto, whose anger continued to brew.

Naruto would not be caught off by the old age,

He knew better than that and held onto his rage.

When St. Nick stepped forward and loosened a strap,

Naruto leapt up and let lose his laid trap.

The exploding tag let loose flame and a boom

That forced St. Nick to flee the fiery doom.

But to his dismay, Naruto's friends were there,

Who let lose their kunais aimed with deadly care.

With a yell, Old St. Nick ran back to his sleigh

And giving his command, he then flew away.

And they heard him exclaim as he rode out of sight:

"You blasted Ninjas! I swear you'll all rue this night!"

Still the night before Christmas, as poor St. Nick fled

Despite all the injuries, he pushed on ahead.

"I'll have to be careful, these ninjas are nuts!

Who'd think I would end up with bruises and cuts?"

And as he flew on he proceeded with care

For he knew the ninjas could be anywhere.
