It was an early morning in Ponyville, as a golden colored mare busily trotted toward the looming clock-tower in the middle of town, occasionally nodded hello to a passerby. Once she arrived, she knocked on a door located at the base of the tower, and a sleepy eyed colt appeared from inside. "Is it finally your shift?" he yawned.

She nodded, "Yeah, did the main gear come loose last night?"

"No, but it looks like it might today," he replied.

She made a mental note to check on it as she brushed him aside. He rubbed his eyes with his hoof, "Oh and Hour hand?"

She turned around to her brother,

"Yeah?"

"Be careful please," He asked as he walked out the door.

Well, as careful as I can be in a old clock tower. She thought as she gazed up the stairs that led to various places. She pondered if she had time for a detour, even though she needed to look at the main gear.

This was most months out of the year consisted of, turning shifts, taking breaks, managing gears. But, today was different, she had something else to tend to. She carefully walked up the wooden stairs, instead of taking a left to the main room, she went to the left and went to a room that was once used as storage, but seldom did it get used, so everyone sort of forgot about it. But now, it as special to her, in a sense. Her gaze went to a large blue box in the middle of the room.
