The lost one Chapter 2

Darkness, that was the first thing that she remembered, and how cold it was. She woke up, somewhere, sometime, their were metal cylinders with tops on them and art on the walls, papers with scribbles and pictures, but not one person in sight. The girl felt like she had been dead and then brought back to life, her bones ached and her eyes where sleepy. Then, she got up from the cement ground and began to walk on the sidewalks of Tokyo. There were people with grocery bags, dogs, and strollers walking by, but none of them noticed her walk by. It was like she was invisible, like she didn't exist.

"Hey there." A girl with a black ponytail greeted.

"Hey," The child said.

"Come on, Dad's waiting for us," The girl giggled.

"What? What are you talking about?!" The child asked, scared.

"Come on Silly, Dad's waiting, he's going to be angry if we don't get home!" The ponytail girl said, grabbing the child's arm.

"Dad?" Now the child was confused, she had waken up in an alley.

"Kira, what's wrong, let's go!" The two sisters ran to their home, well, Kara's home that is, Kari just held on tight.

"Father, I found Kira!" Karai said, jumping into her Father's arms.

"Well done, Karai." The man glanced down at the other child, yes she was afraid, yes she felt like running away, but this might actually be her father.

"Kari, welcome home." Oroku Saki said, in his deep voice he gave his daughter a hug, then gazed at her blue eyes, she had her hair tied up in a small ponytail, since she had short hair.

"Let's go, dinner's almost ready." Oroku Saki lead his two daughters to the feast. Was this who Kari really was, was her name even Kari? But she held onto her Father's hand anyway.
