Oblivious
People see me as a naïve, oblivious, dumb blonde; and I let them. It's easier this way. The more people that see me as oblivious and innocent, the more they try to protect me, the less I have to worry.
And I like it.
I'd much rather yell out a cheer at a football game, than cheer myself up while my parents are yelling. I'd much rather keep an abandoned baby bird in my locker, than keep an eye on Quinn as she decides whether or not to abandon her baby. I'd much rather think about rainbows and puppies and smiles and candy, than think about death and war and pain and hurt.
I know how the world works; it is a harsh, cruel mistress and I'd much rather be oblivious.
