Courage:

*Your will is changing...

Susie had conflicted feelings.

On one hand, she really wanted to keep the king alive, if just for Lancer's sake, but her heart was still pounding from seeing Lancer completely at the mercy of this... thing.

Then it just had to make it worse, and anger flooded through her veins almost causing her knuckles to turn white from how hard she was gripping her axe, knowing that Kris would never let her use it.

Then that anger started to shift, laser-focusing on the thing in front of her, and the magic that she knew she had but never could use because as strong as it was, everyone was stronger then her. That magic started to change shape from destroy to protect, and she relaxed as much as she could.

They had this.

*Your will is changing...

Ralsei didn't want to hurt the king. He really didn't.

Ralsei was a dedicated pacifist, but how could someone even consider locking up their own subjects...?

Ralsei would have done anything for a friend, or subject, or anyone as he grew up, because being lonely was a painfully familiar feeling he hated with a vengeance stronger than anything he ever felt. Why would anyone want to inflict that on themselves?

Ralsei loved Kris and Susie so much, and Lancer had quickly earned his spot on the $&$& Squad, so it wasn't a question as he dropped to his knees next to the two people he always knew he was supposed to die with, had prepared for this fate a long time, but it felt so odd to actually be there.

That love for his newfound friends flooded through his veins as he watched Kris maneuvering their soul around impossibly fast bullets (to protect them) and suddenly the power he's used so often without even thinking of it grew into something much, much, stronger, and the feeling reminded him of the first time he magically healed himself.

He wasn't alone. Not anymore.

*TALK became DUAL HEAL!

*Your will is changing...

This was the battle you had been dreading.

To be fair, up until recently you had been avoiding as many battles as you could, because one wrong move and then there was dust on the floor and that familiar light only you could see twinkling before your eyes as a voice you recognize but you don't still rings in your ears.

You always had the heart to lead and protect, but everyone thinks you're the creepy kid while Asriel is the angel everyone wants, Asriel was the only one you had, and Azzie didn't need protecting. You didn't either, but no one knew that.

Now, now you had to act. No more hiding. Your friends were suffering next to you, and you can see the power radiating off of them but they won't use it, not until you tell them to.

You had to lead them out of this. And you will.

*TALK became COURAGE!
