An: Another one-shot :D this one won't be long and it This was inspired by Marilyn Manson: The Last Day On Earth. This one is a romantic tragedy, at least that's what I hope it will become :) I recommend you to go on YouTube and take the acoustic version of the song on while you are reading this, it really adds more drama and sadness to the song. Well, I hope you like it :D and the writing like this is parts from the song that I really thought fitted in here.
The Last Day On Earth
We are trembling in our crutches
People where in the streets of Raccoon city holding each other, comforting each other, trying to give hope when there was none.
On this day everyone was friendly to each other, they helped people do things they wanted to do all their lives, they sat down and told each other about their experiences in life and did the best they could to make this day, as best as they could.
Now I found you, it's almost too late
A young couple sat on a small hill, looking at the moon and the stars. Their hands where around each other and the girl was trembling. The boy kissed her forehead and pulled her closer to himself.
The girl looked at the boy with tears in her eyes '' S-S-S-Steve….. why? W-W-Why did this have t-t-to happen? ''
The boy looked at her and gave her a small smile '' It's not sure that its going to happen Claire, we will have to wait and find out what happens. ''
I know it's the last day on earth
The girl took her cell phone out of her pocket and dialed a number. She heard that someone picked up and gathered her voice '' Mom, I-I-I-I want to s-s-spend this day with Steve. ''
'' It's okay dear, but whatever happens, remember that me, your father and Chris will always love you and we always have. ''
She fought back the tears as best she could '' I know mom, I have always known. ''
She hung up and let the tears roll down her cheeks she hugged the boy and pressed her head into his chest. She started to cry and she didn't try to hold it back anymore.
We'll be together while the planet dies
'' S-S-Steve, I w-wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, I wanted to grow old with you, I-I-I love you ''
The boy felt his heart get warm by her words and he let some of his own tears roll down his cheeks '' Claire, whatever happens you will. You won't get me away from you. ''
She looked at the boy and smiled, he bend down and pressed a small kiss on her lips, it was a small action but it told more than a thousand words could ever do.
She pulled herself as close to him as she could and they continued to watch the stars and the moon, knowing that they may soon be with them in the heavens.
