A/N: This really happened with my sister's fiance and my sister last year although it was his 6 year old daughter instead of niece. It's not to good...I found it sitting around in the back of my hard drive and figured since it is getting to be Halloween I would post this fic-let...enjoy...R&R

Collins had newspapers laid out on the floor, all ready for them to carve pumpkins for Halloween, which was in a few days.

His niece had come to stay with them for a couple days, so they thought it would be fun to carve pumpkins.

He heard foot steps coming. They must be home.

"Hi Honey" Angel said appearing in the door frame of the kitchen, Alex standing next to her. Each were holding a pumpkin.

"Hey" He said getting up and kissing her on the cheek.

"You ready to carve some pumpkins?" He asked.

"OH YEAH" Alex said excitedly.

Angel grabbed some news papers and spread them out on the table.

"Baby, I already did that it's all set up" Collins told her.

"I know but I wanna work at the table"

"But that'll just make more of mess for us clean up"

"I'll pick it up don't worry"

"But-"

"Just let me sit here"

Collins gave up and sat down on the floor with Alex while Angel sat at the table and they began to carve the pumpkins.

"Can I have a knife, Hun" Angel asked Collins gritted his teeth.

"Which knife do you want, Dear" Collins said through his teeth.

Angel gave him a look."Preferably one thats not in my back"

Alex burst out into laughter.

"what are you laughing at?" Angel asked

"You two, your silly"

"Oh really," Collins said and with that he grabbed a little bit of seed that was inside the pumpkin and threw it at Alex.

Alex laughed as the pumpkin inured hit cheek, she then threw some back at him, he threw some at Angel.
And with that it was an all out pumpkin seed fight.
Collins shirt had gone from being gray to being gray...with orange spots. Angel's wig had Orange things and seeds which had hardened and Alex...well Alex was covered.

When they were done, it mater where they were sitting while carving the pumpkins. There still was a huge mess to clean up.
