"Thanks for walking me home." His voice was monotone, his face expressionless as he stood before the front door of his house, arms crossed. I smiled lazily at him, my hands in my pockets as I leaned my weight on one leg.

"No problem. Even if it was troublesome." I smiled slightly bigger at the flicker of a smile flashed over Gaara's face before disappearing.

"You think everything is troublesome." Gaara said. "Pure ass laziness.

"You betcha." I chuckled. "I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I turned to go, stopping when I felt someone grab the back of my shirt. He was silent, just staring me in the eyes for a second before letting go, his sea foam eyes hesitant.

"Yeah. See you later." He turned around and began fiddling with his lock. I watched him, confused yet amused as he began to curse the lock.

"Need some help?" I teased lightly; ignoring the death glare sent my way.

"No." About five minutes later, "Yes."

"Here." I moved behind my best friend, ignoring the slight pounding of my heart in my chest as I got close to him. 'This is ridiculous, my body shouldn't be acting this way.' I thought, feeling a slight stirring in my pants. 'Best friends shouldn't want to kiss and fuck best friends.' I took the key from his hand, standing just behind him, my arms practically around him as I used both hands to demonstrate how to open the door.

"That's how you do it." I muttered. When had my voice gotten so low and husky? What the hell was going on? And was he now leaning his back against my chest, or was I crazy.

"Can you show me one more time so I don't forget?" He was quiet and I knew for certain his eyes were closed. I nodded and demonstrated again, closing my own eyes and inhaling the strawberry scent that was Gaara.

"There." I whispered in his ear, loving the way he shivered in response.

"Thanks Shikamaru." He sounded breathless, and I smiled.

"Any time." I began to move back, but the slight glow of his snowy skinned neck mesmerized me, and I just had to have a taste. So I leaned in and kissed softly, sucking gently and practically moaning at the taste. Gaara's breath hitched, and I moved one arm from the door handle to wrap around his waist tightly. I sucked slightly harder, creating a mark, but not honestly caring at the moment.

"Gaara?" The voice was muffled by the door, but I could hear it was Temari, wondering why her little brother was standing out on the porch seemingly alone. I pulled away reluctantly, smiling as he turned to face me.

A blush dusted his cheeks, his hand over the possessive mark I made, eyes half-mast. He was adorable.

"See you in Chemistry tomorrow." With a smile I shoved my hands in my pockets and walked down the driveway to the sidewalk. I heard a breathy voice call after me.

"Yeah, Chemistry." I laughed when I heard him mutter, "Ironic, isn't it?"
