Sonnet #1

An urge grows inside me now

A desire I can't control

I must have you somehow

Before the demons take their toll

You lay here beside me

Asleep perhaps a dream

My ungodly hand caresses thee

I am not what you seem

For when the sky is bright

And the sun, like a worker clocks out

When the stars are blinded by said light

And crickets and cicada's shout

I turn into something worse

Than what I have become

Your love for me is like a curse

And the evil in me is of a great sum

I have changed at this moment

And fear my lust grows

The cure has not always been heaven sent

And I'm sure another certainly knows

I must end it now or at least try

In the words of a lover "Thus with a kiss I die".
