Author's note: A one shot? No LK? The world must be ending. No, it's not. This is a work of Shaphne for Project SOS. What's Project SOS, why save our Shaphne, of course. Excuse me if I get something wrong in regards to Mystery Inc, I do not watch. Constructive Flames are fine; any other flames are to be ignored. In 40 years, Mystery Inc has gone all over the world solving mysteries. Even though a lot has changed, some things have remained the same. Shaggy and Scooby never want to be live bait, People still dress up as monsters instead of doing things like trying to work disputes out peacefully, and Fred still flirts with other girls.
Shaggy POV
(Flashback) "It's either me or Scooby, Shaggy." (End Flashback). That one line was considered to be a dart to the heart for me. I never wanted to have to choose between my dog and one of my friends was something I couldn't handle. I made the right decision in dumping Velma, but I wasn't the only person living in poison relationship land. I always thought that Fred and Daphne were headed down a road leading to ruin and desolation. Fred was more of a leader, but now he has a weird trap fet- hobby, which is totally not groovy. I want to see where the old Fred is, but I can't do it now, because I have a plan to restore the honor of the glory days.
Nighttime, Daphne POV
WHERE IS HE? That's why I can't trust Fred. He is an absolute (censored)! He asks me out and then stands me up. But what can you do. Every time, every time! Fred just can't be a reliable boyfriend. He has always been ignoring me, and blatantly flirting with other females in my presence. I think we're at the point of no return. Ever since the glory days, nothing's been going right.
Shaggy POV, on the road with the red Mystery Machine
This is going to be groovy. I've managed to get the Flying Mystery Machine to the airport and am thinking about how to get Flim Flam out of jail, because the 25 years ends today. I know for a fact that Daphne wants to get our glory days back together. We can go and get Scrappy and retrieve the crystal ball Scrappy has. I'm almost there. Time to bring back the past and get these ghosts.
Normal 3rd Person
The doorbell rang and Mrs. Blake answered. "Hello, Shaggy. Daphne is all ready to go." Shaggy answered, "Thanks a bunch, Mrs. Blake." Shaggy ran up to Daphne's bedroom, and said, "Daphne, let's catch those ghosts" They manage to escape and reunite the gang of 13GSD.
