"Only the dead have seen the end of war." – Plato

Summary: 100 word drabble by Faramir on Boromir's death.

So it is over for him then. No more pain, no more sadness. But there can be no joy for him either. No happiness to be seen or known in the Grey Halls. I know not where the souls of Men rest for eternity, if in fact they do. I do not think my brother would rest; he would rather help others through their journeys before allowing himself to follow. That is the kind of man he was while alive, always caring for others before himself. Wholesome and compassionate he was in life, and so he will be in death.
