note: I saw this gif on tumblr that shows as if Lizzie was actually Sidney and it gave me the idea to write this fanfic.

Summary: set after 9x08 in Grey's and about 2 years after scream 4. What if instead of Lizzie Shepherd coming to visit it was Sidney Prescott who decided to come to Seattle Grace and put her traumatic past behind her. But what happens when it comes back to haunt her and the doctors of Seattle Grace?

Sidney's POV:

"hello?" Dewey
"hi Dew" I said
"oh hi Sid!" he sounded happy to hear her "what's up?"
"I decided to move away, it's just that everywhere I go I think about everything that happened. It's like I'm stuck in the past and unable to move on... I can't live like that anymore!"
"I understand. I also feel like that sometimes, that's why I'm so happy I have Gale... If this will make you happy then you should move"
"by the way where do you plan to go?"
"Seattle"
"Seattle?!"
"yeah, my mom used to live there when she was a child and she used to tell me how much she liked this place"
"Well then, I guess I'll book a flight to Seattle for around thanksgiving"
"Dew, thanksgiving is in a month!"
"A month is a very long time to go without seeing your best friend/ second family"
Sidney laughed a little "I love you, talk to you later"
"bye"

A month later(end of episode 9x08 in Grey's)
General POV:

When Sidney entered the hospital she felt a little worried- every time she came to a new place everyone she cared about had died. She didn't want to live through it again. 'it's a new place and a whole new life for you. Now you can finally put your past behind you' she told herself.

"hi, I saw you on the news! You're the angel of death girl" Alex said
"I'd rather be called Sidney…"
"I'm Alex, and don't you worry, we also have our fair share of near-death experiences"
"oh really like what?" Sidney seemed amused and surprised
"a shooter, plane crash, a bomb and that's to name a few…"
"oh wow! Congratulations I think you are the new official angel of death" she joked
"Nah you're more famous than we are…. By the way, what are you doing in rainy Seattle?"
"Just trying to start fresh…"
"so you're working here?"
"To be honest I don't know yet… I have an interview with Dr. Hunt at 11:45"
"interview for what?"
"I thought of becoming a nurse"
"a nurse?" Alex mocked her "you should join the surgery program"
"no thanks, I'd rather help patients. And 7 more years in university isn't the right thing for me" she took a short look at the clock "it's already 11:28 I should go. Do you know how to get to his office?"
"just take the elevator, turn to your left and then follow the signs"
"ok, thanks. It was nice meeting you… Alex"
"nice meeting you too Sidney"
as Sidney started to walk away Alex shouted to her "good luck in the interview"
"thanks!" Sidney half yelled and had a big smile on her face.
he's cute! She thought to herself. Mark Kincaid left her she hadn't have a real relationship.
I better hurry so I won't miss the interview…
