The Knights

Boom! An explosion of fiery glass comes out of the fourth tower. A silverfish streak streams across the sky past the tower. Then a second explosion, this time you can here a feint sound of glass shattering. An alarm sounds, alerting the citizens of the Tech Realm in Tempest that a prisoner has escaped from the Dark Realm. The large screens on the city buildings start showing a close up of a blurry shape of a creature creating the streak.

A woman takes out her cell phone and dials. The phone picks up. "Sir, it's a level 542."

"Call the Knights."

Riiiiing…Riiiiing…

"Aren't you going to answer that?" asked Ikeana who lay on the beach. Riiiiing.

"Nah, I don't think I am." Said Okeara who sits playing his Nintendo. Riiiiing.

"Well it's not going to answer itself."

"Yeah, probably not." Riiiiing…Riiiiing…

"Oh, fine. I'll get it!" She gets up off the beach towel and walks over the hot sand to the hut. She sets the tanning mirror on the counter and walks over to the still ringing phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies later."

"Vince? Vince I told you I'm not going out with you so stop calling you jerk." Then the phone beeped," Hold on I have another call. Hello?"

"Knights, we need you in the Tech Realm!"

"We're on our way. Okeara, get your stuff we gotta go, now!"

"Look! It's the Tempest Knights!" Says someone from the crowd of people. Everyone looks to the sea and spots the two on air boards. The boards through up water making it making it seem like vallies were being created in their wake.

The silver creature notices the commotion on the docks. He flies a little lower and sees the Knights. Heh heh. This'll be fun. He thought. He disappears in a blue flash, then reappears flying at top speed between the Knights.

Ikeana was able to catch a glimpse of the creature. 542 is a hedgehog?! She thought, and then he sped across the water.

"Turn around and ride his air stream!" Said Ikeana.

They turned their boards to the side to slow down, then all the way around. They pushed on the front of the boards and the boards reacted by pushing back up but higher. They grabbed the nose and pushed a button on the back of the back of the board with their back foot and a burst of speed came from the boards.

They quickly caught up with him, but when they did, he disappeared in a blue flash. Then reappeared behind Ikeana. He pushed her off and took her board. Okeara was able to catch Ikeana by the hand and pull her onto his board.

The silverfish hedgehog touched the nose of the board and started glowing green." By the way, the names Streak." He said. Then he jumped to hyper speed and left a trail of green vapor behind him.

"Guide us back to the hut. I have a plan." Said Ikeana.
