Chapter 1- Something Different
It was just another day at the asylum. I was in my office studying some files of the criminals and psychopaths. Let me introduce myself before I go on with my story. My name is Dr. Harleen Quinzel and I've been working here for about a year now. I've always enjoyed it here but lately it's been getting kind of dull. So I was walking down the hall and I was going to interview one of the patients when I saw a man strapped in a wheelchair. This man had paint on his face and looked like a clown. He was in a torn up purple suit. I also noticed that he had scars on the ends of his lips. I walked over to my co-worker and asked, "Who's the new guy?" He looked at a file and responded, "That is the Joker. Nobody knows his real name."
I walked to my boss' office in curiosity about this new patient. Then, I knocked on the door. "Come in," he said. "Sir about the new patient I was wondering if I could work with him. I don't have many other patients to work with, due to the recent deaths, and I feel I'd be great for him. So can I?" He looked at a file for a couple of seconds and then looked up at me. "Alright, you can work on him, just be careful he's extremely dangerous. I'm pretty sure you know where to find him." I smiled, hugged my boss, and then kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you soooo much! You won't regret this!" I ran straight for the file room and grabbed his file off the desk. "This man will be fun to work with judging on his past. OOO! I'm so excited!" I walked back to my office, got an audio recorder and a clipboard with paper. "I hope this goes well," I said to myself as I crossed my fingers.
I walked straight up to the maximum security section of the asylum and asked the guard where he was. He pointed straight at the room. I started walking towards the room and my heart was pounding as I opened the door. "Hello, my name is Dr. Harleen Quinzel and I am here to help you get to a medically clear state. Is there anything you would like me to know about you," I asked. He smiled at me and stood up. "Harleen Quinzel, what a beautiful name," he said as he started pacing around. I jotted down a few notes and he continued. "There's not much to know about me. People say that I'm insane but who knows what if their insane and I'm the only sane one. People don't think of how there is two sides to each story. Do you want to know how I got these scars," he asked pointing to the long scars on the end of his lips. "Of course I do, I'm going to be your only companion as long as you're in here."
He smirked a shockingly mesmerizing smirk and circled me. This made me nervous at first but showing it to him would only make it worse. "That's good because I can tell we are going to be good friends. So I want to know more about yourself; what caused you to work here?" I looked at him with curiosity. "Oh look time's up! I'll see you later Mr. J, bye." I started walking out but he grabbed my hand and kissed it. I couldn't help but to blush he may have been insane but I could tell he was quite the gentleman. To be honest I was pretty excited for our next meeting.
(A/N: I don't think this is to good so I'm not sure I'll continue. If you want me too then leave a review)
