When the Doctor traveled alone, although he preferred it, he got really lonely sometimes. A few months after the Ponds left, he decided to visit an old companion, an old…more then friend.

"Tardis, take me to Rose Tyler!" he announced. The tardis knew this was just a matter of time, so to bad wolf bay he went. Before the eleventh doctor opened the doors of the tardis he looked into the mirror slicked his hair back, adjusted his bow tie and walked out to see the love of his life.

A tall blonde girl walked cautiously towards the tall box. Was it really Rose?

"Doctor, is that you?" she asked.

"Yeah, it's me, how did you know?"

"Well there is a big blue box behind you" she said hiding a smile.

He couldn't help himself, he ran to her and they hugged.

"Oh Rose Tyler, I have missed you so much." He said.

"And I you, Doctor, you're new regeneration is looking pretty good, she said admiring him."

"Thanks, and I wear bow ties now. Bow ties are cool" he said accidently tripping over his feet. She laughed.

"See, I've literally fallen for you."

"Nice save."

He took her hands in his and they walked along the beach together. Suddenly he stopped. "Rose, I haven't seen you in over a year, I need to look at you, really look at you."

She faced him and he looked concerned, her forehead was a little wrinkled, she weighed a few more pounds. Her eyes had lost a little shine.

"You've aged." He said a bit sadly. Normally Rose would be offended but she knew the Doctor meant no harm.

"Yes, I have, a little bit, that's what happens to humans." She said gently. The Doctor thought back to when he heard River say to Amy, "Don't ever let the Doctor see you age."

"Oh, Rose. I'm so sorry! You look fantastic. I didn't mean… you know I'm not…"

"It's okay Doctor, I understand." She said. She looked over her shoulder. "My husbands waiting for me I should probably go back soon."

"Ah yes how's the other me treating you?" the Doctor said smiling.

"Great, we're very happy together. I actually like the idea of him being mortal" She said.

"Yes, that's great to hear! I should probably go to since I'm currently tearing the universe apart, although for you, it's worth it he said leaning against the tardis. It was bloody amazing seeing you Rose, it's been too long, and I'll be back."

"Oh, I'll be counting down the days." She said half-jokingly.

"He stepped into the tardis and the whooshing noise started and Rose headed back to 10.2 but the Doctor had forgotten something. The tardis re-materlized.

"I never did finish my sentence. Rose Tyler, if it's my last chance to say it, I love you." He said.

"Rose ran back threw her arms around him and said, "I love you too."
