Sometimes Jak saw reflections of himself.

He hadn't seen himself in 2 years and when he caught glimpses of himself, he still expected to see that young boy from Sandover. His green hair, bleached blonde from sun exposure. His expression full of determination. A pure soul, lacking any corruption.

However, he'd see himself in windows and mirrors, a man now. His hair had become long and unruly, lacking its bright colour. He looked angry, an anger burning fierce inside him. His face lacked the childish expression he once wore, and his soul seemed tainted.

When Jak saw his reflection in the murky water, it was probably worst. His hair had burnt white-grey, with horns protruding. His expression filled with a rage beyond compare. He looked nothing less than evil. An evil incarnate.

Now, whenever Jak saw his own reflection he only remembered what happened for those 2 years. He couldn't even pretend he was the young boy with the bleached blonde hair, and the pure soul. He couldn't see any trace of that youth. He only saw Jak as strangers on the street saw him.

The boy from Sandover was gone.
