Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter

Half past twelve

And I'm watching the late show in my flat all alone How I hate to spend the evening on my own Autumn winds

Blowing outside the window as I look around the room

Draco sat on a leather black couch in the center of a small apartment, just flipping through channels. Music videos, talk shows, late night shows. He sighed, finally settling on some awards show. Really he was the last person he'd expect to do something like this, except maybe his father, but seeing as how his boyfriend had gone out for his work and hadn't returned yet, he was forced to wait.

His eyes floated to the small clock hanging in the kitchen, 12:30 a.m. and still no sign of him, not that it wasn't to be expected, he was probably trying to spy on some dark wizard, who he thought to be head of some muggle killings. Draco had not been able to get any more info out of his friend.

His interest turned back to the show, right now some guy was talking, thanking his supporters, how humble of him, Draco thought, smirking. He turned off the television, jumping up as he heard something outside, and going to the window. Nothing, he closed the window, turning back to the couch, but jumped and pulled open the window again, as a sound, much louder this time, came from outside. Still nothing, just blackness and wind ruffling his hair as pulled himself onto the windowsill, trying to distinguish any shapes.

Paranoia was his immediate assumption as he finally climbed back inside and closed the window, this time ignoring any noise from the outside world, he slid back down to the couch with a scowl on his face, the same guy was still going on, thanking his manager this time. Pointless, he flipped through channel after channel. What was the point in any of these 'late night' shows, when it was just muggles acting stupid.

He paused and flipped back to a channel, wide eyed, a man and a woman were currently on screen this time, he did recognize the positions they were currently in as it was one often used between him and his lover. He quickly flipped the channel, this one was worse than the last, he didn't even know you could do stuff like that.

He quickly shut it off, not wanting Harry to suddenly walk in and see him watching things like that. He walked back over to the window, a smile lit up his face, as finally, his wish was answered. He could see the vague outline of his lover until the car drove away, and then he heard the door open and he walked back over to the couch, picking up a book, he didn't want to appear too anxious.

Harry walked in, "you didn't have to wait up for me you know," he said, smiling.

"Like I would," Draco shot back.

"Right," Harry said, sitting next to him and picking up the remote.

Draco snatched it from him, "we really should go to bed," he mumbled.

"So you were waiting for me."

"Don't flatter yourself."

Harry jumped up, pulling his lover up with him, "bed time, right?" he said, leaning forward for a kiss.

Draco pulled back and led him to their bed.

That morning when Draco finally awoke, he could hear sounds from the other room, and stood up, walking to living room. He stared from his boyfriend to the television and back again.

Harry looked up with an amused face, "this is what you were doing last night?" he asked, pointing to the T.V.
