Disclaimer: Sadly, I own none of this except for the plot. Okay, so I lied. I guess own one thing from this which is the idea to make this story. But I don't own the characters.

Dick is 21, Jason is 15, Tim is 8, and Damian is 6.

Thunderstorms

Thunder crashed loudly outside and Bruce walked out of the library that held the entrance to the Batcave. He had just spent the last two hours working on a case dealing with Scarecrow and, oddly enough, Penguin. He walked up the main staircase and felt an odd need to check on his sons. He walked down the hall and peered into Tim's dark room. Tim was on the floor wrapped up in his blanket like a small bright blue and yellow burrito. Smiling a little, Bruce walked over and picked up Tim, laying him back on his bed. Tim smiled in his sleep, snuggling deeper into his blanket. Bruce walked out and down the hall to Damian's room only to find that his youngest son wasn't there.

"Maybe he's in Jason's room." he muttered. He walked down the hall to Jason's room. Opening the door, he saw that Jason wasn't in his room either. For a moment, he stood just inside Jason's door trying to think of where his two missing sons could be. Another clap of thunder boomed outside and Bruce knew where they mostly likely were.

"I bet they're in Dick's room."

He quickly made his way down the hall to his oldest son's room to make sure his suspicions were correct. He opened Dick's door, revealing his oldest son sleeping soundly, one arm around Jason and the other arm around Damian. He smiled again and Dick's eyes opened a little.

"Dad?" he muttered sleepily. "It's, like, three in the morning. Shouldn't you be asleep by now?"

"I was coming up to check on you and your brothers. I noticed Damian and Jason weren't in their rooms so I wanted to make sure that they hadn't snuck out or anything."

Dick smirked. "They're fine."

"I know. I just-"

"I know what you mean." Another loud clap of thunder outside.

A soft knock sounded on the door and Tim's small face appeared in the doorway. "Dick? C-Can I sleep in here with you?" He looked up at Bruce. "Oh, uh hi Bruce. Um . . ."

Bruce smiled a little. "It's okay, Tim. The thunder scared me when I was that age, too. The one difference is that you have someone to comfort you. I didn't want to bother Alfred with my fear so I had to face it alone. I thought it was silly to bother him with it."

Tim seemed shocked. "You used to be afraid of thunderstorms?"

"Yeah." Tim smiled slightly. BOOM! Tim quickly wrapped his arms around Bruce. "It's okay, Timmy, I'm right here." Bruce said, wrapping his arms around the young boy. He picked up Tim and walked over to the bed. "Do you want to sleep in here with Dick, Jay, and Damian?" he asked quietly.

Tim shook his head. "I want to stay with you."

Bruce sat on the edge of the bed sitting next to Damian, his back against the headboard. Tim was curled up in his lap, half awake and letting the sound of Bruce's calm and steady heartbeat lull him back to sleep. Damian turned and scooted closer to Bruce, still fast asleep.

Dick yawned. "Well, looks like we got most of the Batfamily here, huh?" he said, laying back down.

Bruce chuckled a little. "Yeah, I guess we do."

"Shut up and go to sleep." Jason mumbled.

Dick looked over at his brother and ruffled his hair a little. "Night Jay-Jay."

Jason snuggled closer to Dick. "Night, Dickie bird." he said, still mostly asleep.

"Night, Dad." Dick said, slipping into his own sleep world.

"Goodnight, my little birds." Bruce said, holding Damian and Tim closer to him.

Should I add another chapter? I think I should, but I'll probably end up leaving that up to you guys. Cute Batfamily moment! :)
