Blue that was the first thing that came to Aki's mind. The small blue reptile, that was in pain on the forest floor, Aki bent down to make sure it was okay, but it lashed out at her. At first she didn't know what it was, she never seen something like it.
The night before there was a lightning storm and the next morning she wanted to go explore, while on her walk she heard a small hiss, and thought it was a snake but after looking around the green lush, bright forest she saw it. It was small, blue, had wings, and clawed feet. At first it wasn't moving, so Aki moved closer and she noticed it was breathing. When she looked closer she noticed it had a yellow shape on its head.
"That's weird." Aki said, getting a little closer. When the words left her mouth it one-eye opened, it was a steel blue, Aki jumped back when a hiss left it mouth. It got up but fell over, Aki eyes went to one of its wings, it was torn and it was bleeding crimson blood that was pooling on the ground. "Okay," she got closer "You need me to look at that." It let out another hiss, and backed up. She looked over the thing again, its right eye was closed, it reminded her of a samurai from history, and a giggle left Aki lips, the creature stared at her but stayed in the same spot.
"Fine, if you don't need my help I'll just leave." Aki said turning around to go back to her house. She walked three feet when she heard something following her, Aki turned slightly and saw it following her, it stopped and glared at her, another giggle left her lips, and continued walking. Aki made it to her house; she went to her door and opened it, she left it open, then walked though her living room to her bathroom to get the first aid kit. When she returned the creature, was slowly coming into her house, it froze when she came in. Aki smiled and walked over to her coffee table, she set down the first aid kit. The creature started to move again, as it got closer, it climbed onto the couch. Aki stared at it, she went to check on its wing, and it let out a growl, she moved back.
"Okay." Aki said, moving away from it again. She sighed and turned to the first aid kit and opened it, took out bandages, hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls. It watched her with a questioning look, she put Hydrogen peroxide a cotton ball, and turned to the creature, she noticed it spread out the wing that was torn. "Really now you want me to look at it?" it smirked "You aren't messing with me are you?"
it shook its head. She sat down on the couch and took its wing gently, she applied the hydrogen peroxide, and she watched it wince. Once she was done she grabbed the bandages and wrapped its wing up. Once she was done, the creature moved its wrapped up wing a few times then scowled, the expression meant it couldn't fly for a while, the creature looked at Aki as she put her first aid kit supplies away.
Aki heard a growl then something climbing up her arm, she turned her head slightly and noticed the blue creature was getting on her shoulder. It gave a look that said I trust you enough now; Aki smiled and got up, the hung onto her shoulder as she walked back to the bathroom to put the first aid kit away. Aki made a new friend and she wasn't about to betray its trust.
