Eragon stood at the left side of the throne, watching his cousin's back as he presented himself to the Varden. It was three days since Galbatorix had been beheaded by Eragon's didn't remember much of the battle of Uru'bean, just that Arya and himself infiltrated the king's fortress and slayed the king together. When Galbatorix died, Shriuken was released from his bounds and became a wild dragon. Before Shruikenleft though, he gathered all of the eldurni` in a sack and transported them to the hardarac desert.
Right now, Roran was being crowned King of Alegasia under Nasuada's dying order. The strong leader was killed by an assassin the night after the battle. "I now proclaim that Roran Stronghammer, descendant of the old king's to be king of all of Alegasia," said king Orrin to the assembled crowd. A loud cheer ran through the crowd as Roran stood to address his people but Eragon wasn't listening anymore. Before the ceremony Queen Islanzandi had sryed him and asked him to accompany Arya to Alalea, the land of the Elves. And, following his heart, he had agreed.
