"You….want to use an unapproved device to get me over ….my secret desires?"

Sitting on Dr Beverly's couch, I sat across from Beverly and Fargo. Both were currently trying to get me to try a new therapy device. One that Allison has yet to see. Or approve.

"Sheriff this device is like the one that forces you to deal with your fear." I rolled my eyes, that would make me agree how?

Beverly gave Fargo a look before turning back to me " What Fargo means is that it's the same concept. The difference is that it has you live your inner most desires not fears." I stood up throwing my hands in the air.

"How is that a good thing? Nobodies approved this yet! That's why I don't want to try it out! The approved one nearly killed me! Why would I be the test subject to a device even Global won't approve?"

"Its not that global won't approve it" Fargo stood up, Beverly following "Its that they are unsure if the device is worth approving."

"If we have results on a subject then it will throw the votes in our favor. Its perfectly safe, we just can't use it on the masses."

I rolled my eyes "You mean the town?"

They shared a look " If you don't test it out then we will just ask Stark-" Stark! They wanted to use a dangerous, unapproved device on Stark!

"FINE! I'll play test subject! But if something bad happens you both are headed to my jail cell!" Beverly just smiled sweetly while Fargo grinned.

"Of course, Sheriff" I didn't like those looks.

"Soo, what do I do exactly?" Fargo gave me an exasperated look.

"Just lay down, put on the helmet and let the D.E.S. do the work." He started to walk away.

"FARGO!" he stops and gives me a look over his shoulder. "When I get in there, what will I see" he turns to look at me.

With a thoughtful look on his face, he replies "It is a virtual Eureka based on your desires. Everyone will react how you would want them to react. You know, Jo will listen to you, Allison might be in love with you-"

"Might?" Fargo furrowed his brows.

"Whoever you are in love with is most likely to be on love with you in there."

"Oh"

" Also, if you desire anything in there, it will happen. If you want a dooms day device to occur" about to ask why I would want that, but Fargo beat me to it. "just so you can play hero. Then it will happen. Just warning you. Anything you desire will happen."

"Okay"

Fargo left the room and I did as he told me to do. Within minutes the machine activated. I felt like how I had when I first had been placed in that therapy device. Like nothing had changed. just my sense of awareness for a second. Before I opened my to be met with worried green eyes.

This will probably be one of my longer stories. Not like anybody reads my Eureka stories. But I like this pairing.
