La! Okay…this is kind of a sequel to that other fanfic I wrote, called "Gone", where Zim killed Dib. Well, in here, DIB KILLS ZIM!!! I don't know why I'm writing these sad, sad fics… enjoy!

Dib's POV
It happened all in a millisecond.
The quick, almost instinctive pull of the trigger, the bullet flying through the air with a quick whoosh—the sickening sound of bullet piercing through green, green skin. All in a millisecond.
He stared at me, an almost incredulous look in his eyes, not believing that someone had beaten him, him, the amazing Zim.
But then, for some reason, when he saw my face, he flashed a triumphant smile.
Then he sank down to his knees, life seeping out of him in the form of blood…
It had happened a year ago. That electrifying moment.
It all occurred in just a millisecond, true… but it was the most important millisecond of my life.
It was the millisecond when our seemingly never-ending fight and rivalry ended.
It was the millisecond when I won, and he lost.
But in reality, the very moment when the bullet pierced through his skin, I knew.
I knew that even though I may seem to have won over our fight…I had really lost.
And he knew it.
That was why he smiled.
