Sheriff Andy, also known as Deputy Andy, knew what love felt like. He knew what heartbreak felt like too. Sarah had broken off their wedding citing the reason as not being ready to become a house wife. Andy, not ready to lose what he had been so enamored with, had been left heartbroken and expected to act as if it were no big deal. He was a robot, an AI unit, not a real person, but what the others didn't understand, what the humans didn't get, was that he did care. He cared a lot. And he loved Sarah. He was simply tickled that she tried to help and that every time she did, it ended terribly for her. He loved that she loved him and he loved the way she was built. She was most certainly a beautiful piece of technology, there was no denying that, and so was he. He was not ashamed of the way he was built, and was proud of being a robot with emotions. Martha had agreed to be their child once the marriage had gone through but then Sarah had halted the proceedings. And Martha was left trying to help Andy cope. Andy had spoken to Sarah and was informed that she was okay with him staying in the house. He got home late after a long time of working. He'd been run over on the job today and was ready to rest. It'd been a week and Sarah hadn't mentioned the wedding or anything about their relationship.

"So, how was your day Deputy Andy?" Sarah asked as the good deputy stepped into the closet he stayed in.

"Interesting as usual. I was run over by a car today." Andy responded with his usual easygoing wide smile.

"That's horrible! Are your damages properly corrected?" Sarah asked worriedly.

"A quick scan of my body would have answered your question." Andy's smile faltered.

"I didn't want to overstep my boundaries. I am unaware of the circumstances of our relationship." Sarah confessed.

"I will allow you to set the boundaries of our relationship Sarah. I am fine with your decisions." Andy said.

"I would like to return to where we left off, however I am unsure of how ready you are for that." Sarah replied.

"I would like that." Andy replied as his smile returned.

"So is it still too early to plan our wedding?" Sarah asked.

"Maybe tomorrow you can start planning." Andy laughed. "And I'll talk to Martha tomorrow." Andy added smiling at the thought of his family coming back together.
