Asami couldn't help but feel a mixed batch of emotions as she watched Tye and Ed reunite with their parents. She was disappointed, she didn't have anyone to go home to. She was confused, did she really expect her family, which she had run away from, to welcome her? And yet, she still felt a tint of joy at the sight of her friends having found their ways back.

Barely understanding what was going on and having no attention brought on to her, she continued to kick the ground back and forth, like she always does. Although, the boys had come to understand her body language throughout the past few days.

"Is something wrong Sam?" her had snapped up, eyes meeting Eduardo's.

Still a bit nervous, she nodded no. Eduardo Sr. gave a warm smile. "I am glad that you have been teaching her English. But you could have learned a bit of Japanese, make her more comfortable." She returned the smile, and couldn't help but catch even the tiniest smile or blush on Ed.

Still, they weren't convinced. She gave a look of confusion, seeing as the crowd focused their attention on her.

"A-are your parents coming, Asami?" Shelly had asked. Ed winced while Tye had done what seemed like a facepalm behind his mother.

No. No they're not coming.

The three made eye contact, the two showing obvious concern for the other.

No. No I'm not going to cry.

This time, she gave even the smallest smile she could give up. "N-no, I am not think so." But that makes no sense, why would someone smile for an answer like that?

Couldn't take it. Ed didn't care if his dad or an audience watched. He reached over to her, placing both hand on her shoulders and looked her straight in the eye. By now it was obvious how strong she'd been keeping her tears from falling.

WHY. I ran away from them! They don't deserve my tears! I don't care! They don't care!

By then, Ed had already been hugging her, hiding his face from their parents, and trying t comfort her with his gestures. There was a touch of silence in the air for a short while.

"Asami-san." Sam looked up to Eduardo Sr, her face still buried in Eduardo's shoulders. "We understand that you are in America alone" he pauses and looks at everyone. "so I hope you'd like to come and stay with me. And Eduardo of course."

There was a jolt that lit up inside of Sam as she fully lifts her face from the burial. Eduardo understands what happens next, and lets her go and watches as she launches herself to hug his father.

"Arigato Eduardo-kun! Thank you so much!" Tears were finally falling from her eyes, and everyone was glad to see her tears of joy that was pulling her back.

"Visit soon guys." Tye says as he fist bumps the two. Asami can't help but feel that there needed to be a group hug, even without Virgil, and she soon crushes them all. Tye smirks at Ed while he just merely rolls his eyes. Eduardo Sr. and Shelly exchange their farewells as well, and the families finally depart.

None of the three mind the silence during the entire car ride. After all, Eduardo will always have time to talk to her now that they were living with each other here in America. Maybe something will happen soon, maybe it won't It's not the end of the world anymore after all.
