This is my take on what I think that Frozen should have been. I hated the stupid movie and found it the worst Disney movie ever made. I couldn't really connect with either Elsa or Anna. And I didn't like how both of them were handled in the final cut. Elsa should have remained as a vengeful villainess who wanted payback on those who treated her like a freak. Instead, Elsa was transformed into an overly whiny and mopey so-called "deuteragonist" with self-esteem issues, a disgrace to the source material's Snow Queen. Anna should have been the heroine we all know and love just like Gerda from the source material. Instead, she was made into a dumb bimbo with no thought, ambition, talent, and even worse, zero character development.

I also did not like how Jennifer Lee(writer and co-director), Kristen Bell(voice actress for Anna), and Brittney Lee(character designer and illustrator) all contributed to Anna's lack of popularity. Jennifer Lee and Kristen Bell were responsible in making Anna the "overly awkward airhead everyone knows and loves" and Brittney Lee gave Anna a terrible hair color and a wardrobe the color of snot and vomit. Everyone knows that Anna's hair is strawberry blonde like her father, King Agdar but it is often mistaken for "red" hair in most cases. If Anna were to represent love and warmth, the color green doesn't do justice to her character. Green is a cool color, while it may represent life, it also represents calmness and tranquility. The Anna we know is not calm and tranquil, she's the exact opposite: courageous and feisty. Pink and magenta better represents her character as her element is love and warmth to Elsa's ice and snow. Also Anna's strawberry-blonde better contrasts with Elsa's platinum-blonde in that Anna's hair is a warm shade of blonde and Elsa's is a cool shade of blonde. In terms of eye color, both sisters have blue eyes like their mother, Queen Iduna. Elsa's eye color is a dark icy blue while Anna's eye color is a bright turquoise blue, showing that Elsa is the "dark" and Anna is the "light."

Alas, Elsa will not be the villainess in this story and will be the Kai to Anna's Gerda. Elsa is the secondary protagonist alongside Anna, so she will be focused on just as much as Anna. Anna and Kristoff won't be an official couple at the end of this story(but they will sometimes afterwards) and Hans will still be the main villain with the Duke of Wesselton and his henchmen as the secondary antagonists.

Sorry for my rant and rambling, this is where the story begins...

December 22st, 1817

It was a dark, cold, and wintry morning in the esteemed kingdom of Arendelle. It was the day of the winter solstice this year and the first child of Arendelle's current monarchs was about to be born. The Arendellian flags hung up around the kingdom blew in the freezing wind in all of their yellow, purple, and teal glory.

Inside the castle, Queen Iduna was in her bed with cold sweat matting her dark-brown hair to her pain-stricken face. The only other people in the room was King Agdar, the two servants Gerda and Kai, and the midwife. The King comfortingly grasped his wife's right hand in both of his hands, Gerda and Kai stood by the door apprehensively, and the midwife gently coaxed the Queen to push the baby out.

"Almost there, your majesty. I can see the head coming out. Just give me one big push." The midwife kindly advised her.

The Queen groaned in immense pain as she struggled to gather her remaining energies to give the final push. She grasped her husband's hand more tightly as she gave out a air-piercing scream and the sounds of a baby's cries were heard.

The midwife quickly wrapped the baby in a pretty blue blanket decorated with snowflakes. She set the baby down on the Queen's bed to cut off the umbilical cord before putting her in the overjoyed mother's arms.

The King joined in on hugging their newborn child as the baby calmed down a bit. The Queen moved the blanket covering the baby's face to get a closer look at it.

Much to their shock, their baby had platinum-blonde hair and it's skin was the color of snow. The baby's skin also felt cold like snow too! But to their relief, the baby's eyes were blue just like the Queen.

Both the King and Queen then moved the blanket aside to check the baby's gender.

"It's a girl!" The Queen whispered excitedly.

"What should we name her?" The King asked her.

The Queen paused for a few seconds before coming up with a name. "Elsa."

The King then gestured to his two servants standing by the door. "Gerda, Kai. Bathe Elsa and get her ready for bed. We have a big day today."

"Yes, your majesty. Right away." Gerda said as she scooped the baby in her arms and hurried to the bathroom with Kai following behind her.

Gerda bathed Elsa in bar soaps made of the finest ingredients in Norway before clothing her in a baby blue nightgown. Kai went down to the kitchen to fetch a bottle of milk to feed Elsa before bed.

After all of that was done, Gerda and Kai hurried back with the baby to the King and Queen's bedroom. Gerda gently lowered Elsa into her crib and covered her with a blanket while Kai held the bottle of milk for Elsa to drink from.

As Elsa eagerly suckled from the bottle, the King and Queen lovingly gazed at their newborn child with their fingers intertwined.

"Isn't she just beautiful?" The Queen asked as she cried tears of happiness.

"Yes, very much like her mother." The King responded with a smile.

"Let's get some sleep, Agdar. The christening ceremony begins in 5 hours. It's been a long day for us." The Queen told him.

"Yes, Iduna." The King nodded and then gestured to Gerda and Kai. "Gerda, Kai. You can rest now."

"Thank you, your Majesty." Kai said as he and Gerda bowed/curtsied before exiting the room.

When Elsa finished drinking from her bottle, the King and Queen affectionately caressed her face as she reached up to grab them with her tiny hands.

"Good night, dear Elsa." King Agdar said to their newborn daughter as the baby cooed. "Sweet dreams."

It didn't take long for the baby's eyes to close and the two retired to their bed.

"Good night, my love." The King said to his wife.

"Good night to you too." The Queen said to him back.

They both shared a brief kiss before drifting off to sleep.

Unfortunately for the King and Queen, they did not have a pleasant dream. The Queen dreamt that her newborn daughter was developing some sort of abnormality that she could not control. The Queen saw Elsa's fearful eyes boring into her own as some sort of power shot from her hands and turned a random person into dust. Elsa was desperately trying to contain herself as her powers continued to spiral out of control, accidentally killing more innocent people. In the King's dream, he dreamt that Elsa was being hunted by the townspeople for witchcraft. The townspeople called her horrible names like "monster", "witch", and "demon" while they chased her with pitchforks and torches. Eventually, Elsa was met with a dead end in the form of a cliff. The King tried to intervene by putting himself between his daughter and the crazed townspeople, but they kept going. The Queen's nightmare ended with Elsa shooting her with her powers, disintegrating her. The King's nightmare ended with him and Elsa being thrown off the cliff to their deaths.

The King and Queen were suddenly woken up by their daughter's wails. They quickly sat up in their bed and hurried to the crib where Elsa was sleeping.

What they saw in Elsa's crib made their faces go pale, it seemed their nightmares have come true!

Thin layers of frost grew around Elsa as she continued to wail. The King and Queen shared a look of horror as the frost continued to spread from inside the crib to outside of the crib.

The Queen bravely picked Elsa from her crib and cradled her in her arms. Elsa quickly stopped crying and the frost stopped spreading as a result, much to the parents' relief.

The Queen looked at her husband and asked in a hushed voice. "What do we do now?!"

The King stared at her with serious eyes and answered, "I know someone who can help. Follow me."

The King told her of a group of people who lived in a place called The Valley of the Living Rock, secluded from humankind. These people had been allies of the King's family for generations in secret. The royal family only came to these secluded people when faced with magical/supernatural phenomena.

It was still dawn and everyone else in Arendelle was still was asleep, so it was the best time to go out and see these mysterious people.

The King and Queen woke up their most trusted servants, Gerda and Kai and got ready to go outside in the cold.

When they were all dressed up in warm layers of clothing and bundled with enough supplies, they set off in a carriage.

The King had the old secret map to the people's territory and navigated Gerda and Kai in the right direction.

It took almost an hour for their carriage to arrive at the location. Kai stayed behind to watch over the carriage, while the King, Queen(with Elsa bundled up in her arms), and Gerda walked into a grove of round, mossy rocks.

Queen Iduna and Kai stayed silent as King Agdar introduced himself.

"I am King Agdar of Arendelle. We have come here for an urgent matter." The King said.

It was still silent for a few seconds, but all the rocks around them started to move.

The "rocks" carefully rolled up the four and unfurled themselves before them.

They were trolls, creatures rumored as hideous beasts who cause chaos for mankind.

But these trolls did not match that description, they were friendly and adorable.

The troll chief stepped forward. "I am Grand Pabbie, leader of my people. What can we help you with, King Agdar?"

The Queen held out Elsa to the Chief while the King filled in for them. "Our newborn daughter, Elsa has been found producing frost. We were wondering if you can cure her infliction."

"Ah, so this is the child who was born with magical ability to create ice and snow." Grand Pabbie said as he closely examined the baby.

"Is there anything we can do to cure her affliction?" Gerda asked.

"I am afraid not. The child was destined to be born with these powers and nothing can be done to remove them." Grand Pabbie sadly shook his head.

"Destined?" The Queen asked worriedly.

Grand Pabbie lifted his hands and produced a magical vision for everyone to see.

"You see," The vision produced a child playing with a magic snowflake in his/her hands. "A child is born with magical ice and snow abilities every 1000 years when our planet aligns with the planet of ice.

The vision then shifted to a picture of outer space with Earth aligning with Saturn. "This is what precisely happened at your daughter's birth."

King Agdar, Queen Iduna, and Gerda watched the vision with great interest before the King asked a question.

"So any child born exactly at that time when these planets align will have those magical abilities." The King concluded.

"That is correct." Grand Pabbie nodded as he closed the magical vision. "But in all of our years, this is the first time we have seen a human child with magical abilities up close. We would have to improvise and adapt to help the child control her powers."

"So you can help her then?" The King asked.

"Yes, I could. But it would take a large amount of time for me to figure out how her powers work." Grand Pabbie answered.

King Agdar, Queen Iduna, and Gerda stood there with a sad look on their faces. They would have to leave Elsa with the trolls for them to raise. They would not be able to see her again in a very long time. If they took frequent trips out of the castle just to see Elsa, the people of Arendelle would get suspicious. As a consequence, the trolls would be discovered and hunted down for their magical abilities. And Elsa would be in grave danger as her parents witnessed in their nightmares.

Hesitantly, the three of them agreed that Elsa would stay with the trolls for the rest of her life. She would not be discovered and feared by any other humans. She would live happily without fear of hurting anyone and being hunted down.

"Then it is settled, Elsa will be yours' to raise. We will not come back until her 18th year and she has mastered full control of her powers. Everyone in the kingdom will have their memories erased of our child." King Agdar declared.

Grand Pabbie nodded in agreement. "I accept these terms."

"Also, one more thing." King Agdar reached into his pocket and held out a gold locket with a blue gem and the symbol of Arendelle(a crocus) encrusted/engraved into it.

"Show this to Elsa and tell her of her true heritage when she comes of age." The King told Grand Pabbie.

Grand Pabbie took the locket from the King's hand and nodded again. "As you wish."

The Queen reluctantly handed her baby to Grand Pabbie.

She caressed the baby as tears sprung from her eyes. "This is goodbye, Elsa."

The Queen kissed the baby on the forehead before setting off with her husband in hand.

"Please take care of our daughter for us." King Agdar said to the troll chief.

"We will." Grand Pabbie said before bidding them a farewell.

"Goodbye." Gerda said to the trolls while weeping with a handkerchief in her hand.

The trolls waved goodbye back as the King, Queen, and servant exited the grove.

After they went out, they all took one last look at the grove Elsa was staying in before setting off back to the castle.

The parents mournfully looked back at the grove where they left they daughter.

They hoped that their daughter would accept them as her real parents once they came back to get her.

But little would they know, they would never see her again.
