I love her,
Tommy Oliver realized as he lay in bed, trying to sleep. He looked over at
his dresser and saw the picture of the two of them together. He knew, deep
within his heart, that he still loved her.
But she doesn't love
me, he thought. She broke up with me. She said I was like a
BROTHER to her. I should be mad at her. But I can't. I love
her too much.
"Kim, why did you have to break
up with me! I would give up everything for you." he sighed as he
walked over to the picture and picked it up. He stared whistfully about
how happy he looked with her. How much he had enjoyed life when she was
with him. Kad had tried to make him forget abou how much he had been hurt
by the letter, buy he loved Kim too much. Everyone had accepted Kat to the
team, but everytime they morphed he thought it was Kim in the
suit.
Kat deserves someone who can love
her, thought Tommy. He winced as he thought of the last conversation he
had with her.

"Hey, Tommy. How's it been
in Angel Grove?" asked Kat.
"It's been great. How are
you doing in the ballet school?"
"It's so awesome! I think I
might be able to dance on Broadway someday! I love it here," suddenly her
voice changed. It became more serious. "Tommy, do you love me?
I love you."
"Yay, I love you Kat," he
responded automatically. "Why do you ask?"
"You sound so, unahppy," she
sighed. "You still love her, don't you Tommy."
"Kat...."
"Don't say it Tommy. Don't
say it unless you mean it. Tell me the truth Tommy. Do you love
me?"
"I..I don't love you Kat. I
tried, but I can't," he admitted.
"I thought so Tommy." said Kat
sadly. "I should have realized it, When Divaox turned her evil, I
saw the love on your face when you took of your helmet. I knew you weren't
over her yet."
"Kat, you are one of my best
friends I could ever have. You pulled me out of depression when Kim went
the letter. I wish I could feel more for you, but I can't. I'm sorry
Kat.'
"Tommy, I know. But,
no offense, I really don't feel like talking to you," said Kat. Tommy
could almost see the tears running down her cheeks. "Give me time to get
over this. I..I need t..to go." Her voice broke as she finished the
sentence and hung up the phone.

I should have been better
to her. I should have told her from the start that I still loved
Kim. I guess I'm destined to be single for a while. I should have
called Kim after the letter. Now it's to late. The games are over
with, so I don't even know where she is. I love her, but I don't think she
loves me back.
With that, he went over to his
bed and feel into a restless sleep. Little did he know that at that
moment, a girl was walking off a plane in Angel Grove with medal in her bag and
a hopeful expression on her face.
The
End?
