Alex's Family-Dog Days.
The family was getting ready for a pool party to celebrate their first week of school. All the cubs were in the pool. Alex was grilling Hot-Dogs. Gia was handing the drinks. All the cubs on the whole block came. Gia was talking to Alex as she put the drinks down. I'm glad we decided to put on a pool party for the cubs. The hot dogs were done. Okay kids. Hot dogs are done. Nitro excuse himself & grabbed a chair pretending is was a diving board. However, He was in a shallow in Alex looked up. Nitro! Wait! Cannon ball. Nitro jumped in & snap. Alex ran over it him & picked him up. I need to take you to the emergency room.
In the emergency room, Melman was looking at his X-ray. Looks like it'a clean break. Melman got some plaster out & started to roll it around his leg. All done. Keep that leg elevated. Melman gave him some pills to take home for pain & keep hime home from School for six weeks.
At home Alex came home with Nitro. Alex talked to Gia. Melman said it was a clean break & It should heel in six weeks. Nitro was cooped up in his room. Simba gave him his homework & the whole class made him get well cards in art class. Gia came upstairs with his dinner. Nitro was sitting in the rocker with his leg elevated on the pillow on the leg rest watching T.V. Gia sat down the bedside table on his lap. How are you feeling sweetie? Okay I guess. He said. Mom? I'm sorry what I did. Gia was comforting him. OOHH Honey it was just an accident. Don't be to hard on yourself. Alex came upstairs with his meds. & some water. Nitro took them with some water plus some calcium pills. After dinner, Alex helped him in bed put the pillow under his leg & kissed him good night.
Six weeks went by, Alex took Nitro back to the emergency room. Melman took another X-ray & removed the cast & cleaned his leg off. There good as new. said Melman & give him a sucker & give him his cast as a souvenir. Alex took him out for Ice-Cream on the way home.
Nitro went back to School the next day. All of his classmates was happy to see him back. He brought his cast that his leg was in & the whole class signed it. That night, He put it on his shelf. The End
