Author's Note: This is my second attempt at a story like this, so any constructive feedback helps. My previous story was a "A New Beginning." It is not necessary to read it before reading this story however. I hope you enjoy. All rights go to Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Entertainment. Side note: When characters are thinking, the text will be in italics, and when characters are texting, the text will be underlined.

It had been a few days after the funeral. The tragedy shook them to the core. They had lost their friend, but it felt to them like losing family. They could only imagine how his family must be taking it, but they especially wondered about his brother. Hiro was alone on the steps during the official mourning period, but they couldn't blame him for not showing up. His brother, Tadashi, was his role model, his father figure, and his brother. But now, he was gone.

Life goes however, and Gogo decided to take action. She picked up her phone for the first time in days, and started to text.

"Hi guys. How're you feeling?"

"I am fine." Texted Wasabi.

"I'm ok" Texted Fred.

While Wasabi and Fred responded in minutes, Honey Lemon didn't answer.

"That's weird" Gogo thought, "We usually can't get that thing out of her hands."

"We need to think about the future." She texted

"Now? I'm in the middle of readin 'Boss Awesome issue #35' when Ranger One gets killed by Flame Boy's fire powers"

"Bad timing Fred. Like really bad." Texted Wasabi.

"Can we meet up in person? I need to talk 2 you guys face 2 face" Texted Gogo.

"Sure… where?" texted Wasabi.

"At my lab, when we get back to class" Texted Gogo. "Honey will be there anyway, We can talk then."

"I'll meet u guys there." Texted Fred.

"K, I'll see about Honey." Texted Gogo.

"I'll text her." Wasabi texted. (To Honey Lemon individually) "Hey Honey, you might have seen Gogo's texts, but I just wanted to make sure that you know that tomorrow, we're gonna talk about, according to Gogo, 'the future'. It's definitely serious, so we're going to be in Gogo's lab if you want to talk." "It's not like Honey to be so quiet. I hope she's okay." He thought.

Little did he and the others knew, that in the dorms of the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Honey Lemon was sobbing into her pillow, desperate for the feeling that the whole ordeal had been a dream of some kind. But she knew deep down, that it could never be so.

Author's Note: Thank you for reading. The second chapter will come out within the next week or so.
