Harry Potter is the reincarnation of Yuki Kimihiro, who was cursed, by the vampire Cain, to continuously be reborn and die a terrible death if he where ever to see his old friend, Shido Tatsuhiko. But the curse has been weakening and when Shido and Harry meet up again, they start their plans to destroy the curse and it's caster. SLASH

Prologue - A Painful Curse

"Shido! Wait!" The short, black haired teen ran towards the older, purple haired teen in front of him. "Please, Shido! Don't go! Don't leave me!" The purple haired teen turned, gold eyes watched as the smaller teen came closer.
"Yuki…I…" He stepped towards the other but was blocked by a tall, blond haired man.
The blond smirked. "I'm sorry, Shido, but I cannot allow you to stay nor can I allow this child to come with us." And with that he turned to grab the smaller teen, clawed hands squeezed the delicate neck. "So, to solve this little problem, I'll have to kill you!" And he viciously bit down on the small neck, sucking out the teens blood.
Shido gasped. "NO!" He screamed and ran to stop his sire but was harshly flung back by a blood whip. It then tied itself tightly around him, preventing him from getting up.
"Don't interfere, my lovely Shido. This is part of your punishment." Cain grinned and turned back it the dying teen in his arms. He nicked his thumb and started to write runes and symbols on the small teens forehead and along his temples until it looked like he was wearing a crown of blood. Ignoring Shido's pleas to stop, Cain began to whisper a few words and the blood started to glow brightly before fading.
Cain gently laid Yuki on the ground and stood, turned to Shido and snapped his fingers. The blood bindings disappeared and Shido slowly stood, he glanced worriedly at Yuki before glaring hatefully at Cain. "What did you do to him!"
Cain smirked. "I cursed him. He'll be reborn but die again. He'll die a very terrible death each and every time." Cain chuckle evilly at Shido's distraught face. "You're welcome to try and destroy the curse but I doubt that you have the power or knowledge to do it and he'll just die in you arms." He chuckled again before forcefully kissing Shido. "Good Luck." He whispered before vanishing.
Shido stayed where he knelt, gold eyes returned to their original teal color and began to brim with tears as he watched the slow rising and falling of his closest and dearest friend's chest. He stood and slowly made his way to the dying teen and knelt beside him, carefully lifting the small body onto his lap. Shido caressed the soft paled cheek. "I'm so sorry, Yuki."
"Its not your fault, Shido." Yuki said softly, green eyes slowly opened and looked up to the older teen. Smiling, Yuki said to his vampire friend, "Its not your fault and even if you don't think so, I forgive you." Yuki snuggled closer to Shido. "Even if you're a vampire, your still my friend."
"Yuki…"
"Promise me, Shido…" Yuki clung Shido's shirt tightly, "Promise that you'll look for a cure."
"…I…Yuki…" Shido looked down sadly.
"Please, Shido. For me. I don't care if I get hurt. I'll always come back." He smiled weakly.
After a small pause, Shido finally smiled slightly. "Alright. I promise that I'll look for a cure, Yuki."
"Thank you." Yuki smiled and closed his eyes and with one last breath he whispered, "I love you, Shido."
Shido silently sobbed into the small, unmoving chest. "I swear…I swear I'll save you from this curse…My love."
