A farewell to all held dear
I looked across the sunlit field,
And across the starlit sea,
The tangy taste of my quick meal,
Gave way to memories
Times at home were peaceful,
All my dreams lined up,
None were this, none were here,
Yet I be.
The cows would need the milking,
The body laid to rest,
The smell of fresh manure,
and blood no longer at its best .
I do not now know what a dream,
And what reality
Cannot remember the happy times,
at home, and by the sea.
Knowing not what is real,
I give way to my uncertainty's,
Please forgive me loved ones
For I mean no harm to thee,
Its time for me to go away,
To a new field untainted by impurities.
Forgive me, I pray.
