Why did you have to leave, you did it to save me I know
And I will always love you forever
But I did not want you to go
But your ties to this world have been severed
My love has been drained; my heart lies on the floor,
I wish things were like they had been
I wish you would walk through that door
But what once was will never again, happen
I still wish it though, every day
For you to come strutting in
Then come to me and in my ear calmly say
