A/N: A I came up with this story while listening to James Durbin song "May" I wish this was longer, but if I decide to continue which I hop I do, the chapters will be longer. It suck, not very good at writing, but wanted to post it anyways. Tell me what yo think.

Prologue

Alex tucked a strand of Izzie's blond hair that was draping In front of her face behind her ear. They were swimming in their apartment's swimming pool. It was the summer and it was hot so , they took a swim. It was mid evening and they didn't want to waste their remainder of their day off sitting in their apartment doing nothing. Thirty minutes later Alex and Izzie step out of the pool, drying off with the lime green towels they brought along with them. Alex hated the color but he didn't complain because he didn't want to go and buy his own for himself so he let's Izzie pick them out. Alex and Izzie walk with smiles on their face back to their apartment. Alex has his arm over Izzie's shoulder he gives her a slight smile and whispers in her ear," I love you", smiling back she says, "I love you too."

While walking back Izzie stops and faces Alex. "I'm not ready to go back to the apartment yet let's go do something. "
He looks her in confusion and says, "shouldn't we change first?"
Izzie just says, " we don't need to go and change...
" We don't?" Alex knew or thought he knew or was hoping what she meant.
"What is it with boys and sex and that's all that's in their minds."
She playful hits Alex over the head,

"Owe"

"That didn't hurt."

We don't need clothes because I've already got the clothes with me. You only need a shirt which is in my bag and I only need to put my sun dress on."

Alex nods, "okay hand me my shirt. "Izzie reaches in her stripped green bag and pull out a grey T-shirt and throws it to the man standing in front of her. Alex instantly recognizes it and puts it on, it was his Iowa state shirt he had back in college. After that Izzie puts on her her green sundress on that she had in her bag. Alex smiles at her, "you look hot."
"thanks, okay Now can we do something."
"Sure babe whatever you want."

They decide to just walk around
Because they couldn't really think of anything else to do.

Everything seemed perfect. Alex and Izzie were finally back together. They got married quiet fast after seeing each other for the first time in years. Meredith says it was a bad idea and he'll just get hurt again. Alex doesn't listen because he has this feeling that it won't happen and they'll be together forever. Meredith still supports him at his wedding and is his best man, she warns him that she doesn't want to be his best man a third time. Things were perfect, but there was something missing in there little family, a baby. They use the embryos that got frozen years ago , the doctor put in three, not too long after she realized she was pregnant. Izzie goes to the doctor and they tell her that one of the embryos took and she was pregnant. Izzie told her husband right away, she thinks that he might be more excited then she was by the expression on his face. They both knew that the apartment that they lived in was no place for child so they moved to a beautiful house in the suburbs not to far from the hospital. They were so excited about everything that they decided to paint the baby's room even though they didn't know the baby's sex, the painted it yellow. Everything was going well until the day Izzie went into labor.
