New story. Sorry the chapters will be short but have some ideas in where I want this story going. Please tell me what you think.
Many years ago in the enchanted forest...
Regina's screams could be heard all around the room.
"Just a little bit longer" Henry comforted his daughter. He was looking forward to becoming a grandfather. After one more push a baby screaming could be heard throughout the grounds. It was a beautiful baby girl. The midwife passed her to Regina. The baby stopped fussing the second she was passed to her mother. Regina cried in joy at the big blue eyes staring up at her
"She has your eyes Daniel" she whispered
"What are you going to call her sweetheart?"
"Mirabelle Thea Mills" Thea was Daniel's mothers name and Regina had always loved the name Mirabelle, after meeting a girl named Mirabelle in the woods when she was younger. They were friends and would meet as often as she could. But her friends village had been destroyed and killed in the Ogre wars. In which Cora had shielded their home from attacks. Mirabelle was the only friend Regina had growing up and thought it only right her daughter be named after her.
When Regina had first announced she was pregnant her mother was furious to find out it was the stable boys and not the Kings in which she had been married to a month and believed she would have to destroy the baby once it was born. Cora used magic to hide Regina's pregnancy. However she would have to remove the spell during doctors appointments. On one appointment 12 year old Snow had been roaming the castle looking for her stepmother when she witnessed Regina talking to the midwife. She immediately went and told her father. The King was so pleased to hear he was going to have another child. That even Cora wouldn't tell him the truth. Instead Cora used magic to make it as if the people who attended to Regina's pregnancy started one month later than they actually did and when Regina had the baby they would simply state that it was a month early.
Regina was overjoyed to know that her mother wouldn't try and take her baby away but was not so pleased to learn she would have to pretend that her baby belonged to the King and not her beloved Daniel.
4 months into the pregnancy and Regina overheard her mother planning on use magic to make the baby look still born and send the baby off to another land. Therefore eliminating the risk of the King finding out. That night Regina summoned Rumplestiltskin to help her get rid of her mother. He gave her a looking glass in which she had pushed her through.
Regina's precious moment with her daughter was rudely disturbed with Snow and the King entering the chamber.
"She's so beautiful, Hello Mirrie I'm your big sister, Snow, I will take good care of you"
Snow cooed over her 'little sister'
The King leaned over and placed a kiss on both his wife and new daughters heads.
