Nepeta blinked tiredly, the haze of sleepiness still clouding her mind, as she gazed up from the stuffed squiddles surrounding both her and her human matesprit She stretched out like a cat squishing the smiling octopus stuffies she was laying on, as Jade snored softly from beside her. Nepeta yawned as the computer screen in front of them both blared into her eyes, the menu for an adventure movie playing on the screen. Searching tiredly she grabbed onto her blue hat and placed it upon her head, making sure to get the hair off her face and out of her mouth, as she began to contemplate what had just transpired. Sleeping out of the recuperacoon. It wasn't a thing done with trolls with the horrid tumble of nightmares that visited them daily. Nepeta looked at her sleeping matesprit and felt her heart flutter in her chest.
She smiled brightly at the sleeping girl. Nepeta trailed her clawed hands along her face in a gentle caress, her fingers dipping along the curve of Jades jaw, before gently rubbing her bottom lip. Jade breathed heavily as she cuddled three different squiddles. Along her fingers was an assortment of bands for remembering details Nepeta knew she was going to eventually forget, and it was simply magical. Nepeta lay back down, knowing Equius would worry for her but not really caring. She snuggled up to the human girl, being mindful of her candy corn horns and sharp nails, nuzzling the crook of her neck.
The pads of her fingers traced down Jades spine, and she gently pressed kitten like nips to her neck. Purs rumbling loudly. Nepeta kissed Jades pulse point loving the sound of her beating heart. Said girl grumbled loudly, eyebrows furrowed as she began to awake. Nepeta grinned at her, watching her green eyes open.
Jade frowned, sighing, "S'not time to get up."
Nepeta giggled as Jade glared at her, her chest rumbling even louder. Jade cuddled her stuffies even more and blocked her eyes from the light of the computer. Nepeta languidly placed her lips on the others unresponsive ones. Her fingers finding a patch of skin from where Jade's shirt had ridden up. The skin was soft and bruised easily under the strength behind Nepeta's touch. Nepeta nuzzled into Jade's thick black hair, inhaling the fruity scent.
"Go back to sleep," Nepeta chirped, smiling at the tired female.
Jade tugged Nepeta's hat from her head, placing it next to the computer, pouting. "You too," She breathed moving so she could place her head onto Nepeta's beating heart, pressing a gentle kiss there. Nepeta hummed in agreement, nuzzling Jade's thick hair before pressing a teeny kiss of her own onto the girls forehead. She fell back asleep listening to Jade's breathing, no longer in fear of her nightmares.
