Because I love the Charming Family :)

She woke up to fresh smelling sheets. She yawned, but refused to get up. Her sheets were too comfy, but she had to go to work. On second thought…that was weird. She usually didn't wake up before her alarm clock. She raised her head to look at the time: 8:15. She was either really late for work or- wait a minute. Today was Sunday. Her day off. She sighed with happiness and slid back under her covers. Moments later she heard laughter downstairs. Hmmm…maybe she should go join them.

She sat at the edge of her bed and stretched then walked over to the end of the room where she looked over and saw her parents fixing breakfast in the kitchen. Yes. She was 30 years old and she still lived with her parents. If this were normal circumstances that would be kind of weird but her life isn't exactly normal. She is Emma Swan and she had only just met her parents about 2 years ago. Sure, she could find her own place but for now she just wanted to enjoy all the moments possible with the family she longed for all her life. Emma headed downstairs not bothering to change out of her Pj's.

"Good morning." She greeted.

Mary Margaret looked up from the saucepan. "Well look who's awake."

David laughed. "I hope you had a good sleep." He said kissing her head. He never seemed to get tired of doing that did he?

"I slept like a baby. Talking about babies…" She turned to look at the crib where Neal jumped up and down.

"How's my little brother?" Emma picked him up and danced around which only made Neal giggle.

"What's for breakfast? It smells really good." Emma sniffed the air once more.

"My famous pancakes AND waffles recipes." David answered

Emma widened her eyes. "Pancakes AND waffles? Woah, I see we're going crazy today."

This made her parents laugh.

"And to further sure our cool carefree side we have come up with 8 different toppings." David added.

"Well I may know a 12 year old boy who is going to go for all those 8 toppings."

Emma smiled as she looked upstairs. There was just one member of the family who wasn't awake. Emma walked back upstair to her room. To the left of her bed was a smaller bed. She sat on the side.

"Good morning, my sleepyhead." A head emerged from under the dark blue covers. Henry rubbed his eyes and hugged his mother.

"Morning, Mom." Emma kissed his forehead and fixed his brown hair.

"Guess what?"

Henry yawned. "What?"

Emma tapped his nose. "Your grandparents made pancakes AND waffles for breakfast."

"Awesome! Can't wait to eat some."

"That's not even the best part. We have 8 different toppings.

Henry's eyes grew and he suddenly seemed fully awake.

Emma nodded. "But you better hurry because if you don't I'm going to eat them all by myself." Henry stared at his mom for a second before challenging her.

"I bet I can eat more than you."

Emma laughed. "You're on kid!"

Henry placed his head on her shoulder and as Emma wrapped her arms around Henry, he escaped her grip jumped up and ran downstairs.

Emma was left with her mouth opened as she realized she had been tricked.

"Hey no fair. You distracted me with your love." Emma called out racing after her favorite person in the world.

During breakfast the family planned what they would do for the day. First they'd take a walk in the park and let a baby Neal play around and then they'd come back home and Emma would spend the rest of the day playing video games with Henry. Nothing big and nothing special. It actually didn't really matter to Emma what they did because Sundays were always the best.
